I've decided to just not succumb to stupid idea of being afraid of playing a game. Playing a game shouldn't be a negative experience, but a positive retreat from the real world. A way to relax. So I'm creating an excuse: I'll publicly report the first few games I play each day, and I'll try in general to play at least two 1v1 ladder games a day in general. With your help, I'll be able to sustain this positive habit
The way I'm trying to do this is following:
- Capture the games from a 1:st person view, and I'll try to say what I'm thinking while I play.
- Save the replays, and share them publicly.
- Analyze the replays, spot the most important events in each game and write about them in a certain format that I've thought out.
- Be subject to public critique, comments and ridicule.
- Be inspired to do this more often, thanks to the awesome SC2 community.
I'm afraid the live-casting part will be a bit lackluster since a) It's hard to play and talk (and be entertaining) at the same time and b) my native tongue isn't English, but Finnish and Swedish.
The first game is being uploaded to Blip as I write this, so the first game will be posted very soon. Unfortunately the encoding and uploading of videos is a ridiculously long process for so short games, I won't upload more than a few VODs per day.
If you feel like giving me a challenge, don't hesitate to contact me on the EU server, I'm Wolfie.756, or just PM me.
