Instead, they're more like Flash/Jaedong for Macintosh; a little worse than their original Windows counterparts. It's understandable for people to get a little too hyped up after a great game (I do this a lot too) but yeah, having one great game against each other doesn't even come close to the incredible legacies of Flash and Jaedong. It's just silly to call them the SC2 equivalent of Flash/Jaedong, especially considering that they're not even the best SC2 players.

Hes not bad by any means, but I would say he is not "mature" yet for the real deal. Maybe if it was Proleague-like stuff, his efforts on GSTL would be worth something. I hope he FINALLY lives up to the hype he gets and become a top class player, but right now he is nowhere near "Top 3 terrans in the world". MVP had the same hype on the first seasons too. He is def a beast and amazing player (even being in code A last season he won the World tournament) but he wasn't nearly as good at the open seasons as he was at GSL January! MMA won't be the best Terran on the next GSL season (or the upcoming big Tournament imo) but I'm pretty sure he will perform better on decisive matches (aka Up/Down). Now as a fan (not being impartial as before) : MMA is gonna kick some CODE A ass and not even DRG (who is also doing the same) will stop this monster!! MMA FIGHTING!!!!!

Well, I respect your opinion, however I disagree with it. A few months ago I would probably make a post just like yours. I was riding on the MMA hype back then. Everyone was. No one expected him to fail again. "MMA have Code A in the bag already", "MMA confirmed for getting Code S", "Cant wait for the up/down matches, its gonna be a cakewalk". And now look where he is. Code A, yet again. Didnt even managed to win it. Lost to MKP in the up/down matches. MKP overwhelmed him and Huk defeated him effortless. So yeah, Im not buying into the MMA hype again. Every season is the same thing: he gets hyped as hell, just to fail when it matters. He will never have a solid progamer career if hes only able to show results in team leagues.

He will never have a solid progamer career if hes only able to show results in team leagues. I think you're being too harsh on him. He lost in Ro16 in GSL March to Killer (who made it to Ro8 Code S this season), then in GSL May he lost in Ro8 to Bomber (Code A champion), then lost in the up and down matches to MKP (who is MKP) and Huk (who was really well-prepared and played well that day). He's clearly got a lot of potential. I agree that you shouldn't overhype someone just based on team league, but that doesn't mean he isn't a great player.

I think they were probably considering saving Alicia depending on the matchups (though they decided on Ganzi and MMA). Frozen was probably picked because he could execute the sniper blink build on Keen (and it wouldn't be a big loss to lose Frozen as opposed to Alicia).
