Many props to him for winning the ace match, DRG was a great oponent, and both players played their best, I believe. But before being hyped like that, both players still has a LOT to prove.
As an example, you wouldnt say Much or Best are the best protoss in BW just because they have defeated Flash in ProLeague. You just wouldnt, no matter how big this accomplishment is.

I think he's easily one of the best second tier Terrans(first tier being Mvp/MKP/Bomber) but for someone to say he's a top3 Terran and putting him up there over Terrans who have actually done something to prove themselves in bo3/5's(which are much more revealing of skill) just because he manages to perform well in bo1's is stupid

I agree, but it's not only his wins that make the hype. It's the skill he displaying.
Best vs Flash didn't show that much "strength" from Best.

Some people just suck at individual leagues but are beastly in team leagues. Like Sea, and skyhigh before he slumped. Could be the same thing for MMA here
