He's not better than MarineKing in any shape or form.
People overhyping someone because of the GTSL gets so boring, there are much better players that have actually proven themselves while MMA can't get into Code S.

Some players just play better in different situations. MMA is 11-2 in GSTL. He's just money in this tournament. It might be multiple reasons why he excels in GSTL and not GSL. One could be that he has Boxer on the bench, giving him tactics before every match he plays in. He doesn't have that in GSL.
Some guys are ladder gosus. Some people are tournament gosus. MMA is a team league gosu.

Hes not bad by any means, but I would say he is not "mature" yet for the real deal.
Maybe if it was Proleague-like stuff, his efforts on GSTL would be worth something. I hope he FINALLY lives up to the hype he gets and become a top class player, but right now he is nowhere near "Top 3 terrans in the world".

That ace match was the best game of starcraft 2 I've ever watched. Only way to 1up it was if Tastosis casted it.

true, maybe he needs more time but in his code A games he literally cakewalked his way through until the ro4 i think

MMA reminds me of that stereotypical captain/lieutenant guy in war movies or games that is experienced and always is clutch etc. Lol, that's the way I portray him, at least

I was exhausted after watching that last game. Was quite intense. I bet DRG is dwelling on moving that one force out at the 8 o clock position just as that drop came in. Such a dirty sinking feeling when that happened. Such an epic game. I was quite impressed. Everyone knew it was gonna be an epic game, I wanna see more of these guys now that they are probably going to be even MORE focused on their games.
