oGsNaDa < VS > oGsInCa
Game 1 - Xel’Naga Caverns
NaDa spawns at 1 and InCa spawns at 7 for the first game of the day. Both players go for a standard opening as NaDa goes for a slightly early Factory, going for a quick Siege Tank. InCa throws down a proxy Pylon quickly followed by a Stargate in the same position while pumping out Gateway units for a lot of early pressure. As NaDa’s Tank finishes, the Terran goes for a Command Center and Starport, as InCa continues to pump Void Rays. A lone Hellion sneaks past the Gateway units of InCa, scouting for an expansion, as NaDa has a Raven and Thor in production. InCa now goes up to 3 Void Rays, and throwing up a Guardian Shield, pushes up the ramp of NaDa. As the bunker, Thor, Raven and Marines fall, NaDa barely cleans up the assault only to have pressure continued by another Void Ray and Gateway units. During all this, InCa lost the majority of his probes to a single Hellion. NaDa ultimately though is forced to GG as the Protoss Void Ray composition was to strong to handle.
Game 2 - Tal’Darim Altar
After a rather short PvT, NaDa spawns at 5 and our previous victor spawns at 11. NaDa opts for a quick tech lab on his Barracks as InCa goes for a standard PvT build. As NaDa begins Concussive Shells, InCa throws down a proxy Pylon at the 2 o’clock main, going for a 4 Gateway however hiding one of the gates at the proxy, making it look like a 3 gate expand. As NaDa expands, his Reaper hops in to the natural of InCa, kills off the fake expanding Probe and jumps away.
InCa with a lot of Sentries, begins to place down his Proxy Pylon very near to the base of NaDa, pushes in with a huge Gateway force, and with great force-fields, denies the repair on Bunkers, rips through the Barracks army and takes the GG to take the series to 2:0
Game 3 - Crevasse
NaDa spawns at 1 while InCa spawns at the 5. InCa goes for gas first as the Terran goes for a quick tech lab yet again on his Barracks. As a Reaper begins production, InCa goes for a proxy Pylon and then a Proxy Stargate along with a 4 Gateway back home. NaDa actually scouts the proxy Stargate as he throws down his own expansion in the back. As InCa’s Stargate goes down, the Protoss player goes for his own expansion behind this, potentially moving this series in to a mid-game for the first time.
InCa grabs a Forge to begin armour upgrades followed by a Twilight Council, as NaDa grabs his Factory and Stargate shortly after. With Zealot Charge on the way, InCa goes for a Templar Archives as well as the Terran goes for Medivac production. With Psi Storm on the way, InCa throws down a few more Gateways and Nexus while another expansion goes down for NaDa. NaDa goes for a double Medivac drop in the backdoor natural of InCa, killing off a few Probes as well as some Zealots, however InCa’s main force pushes up and denies the harass. NaDa ever persistent though, comes back and despite a nice feedback on a Medivac, kills off the Nexus and leaves.
As NaDa establishes a foothold to the north of InCa’s base, he also expands once again, and in an attempt to take out the second expansion of InCa, sacrifices a lot of his army with little results, only barely missing the Nexus snipe. Smelling blood, InCa pushes the rest of his force in to the natural of NaDa, doing huge damage with a Zealot/Templar/Archon/Sentry mix. InCa with a commanding lead takes the series in amazing fashion, as NaDa GGs and the Protoss takes the series 3:0.

IMNesTea < VS > sCfOu
Game 1 - Metalopolis
sC spawns at the 3 while NesTea spawns at 1, scouting sC early as it’s close positions by air. sC begins to wall-in with a double Barracks while NesTea goes for a Spawning pool and gas first as is his normal ZvT build. sC begins to push in with a lot of Marines and 4 SCV’s as NesTea goes for an expansion. As NesTea attempts to push the Terran away, sC’s bunker placement is perfect so as to not let NesTea get the surround on his Marines, and with Stop position on his SCV’s, NesTea has to focus the workers manually to get to the Marines. Doing huge damage to Zerglings and Drones, sC takes a massive lead and NesTea forced to cancel his expansion.
As sC now has a huge economic lead, the Terran pushes toward the Zerg again with a few more Marines, as well as expanding behind it. NesTea realizes there’s no solution to his problem and GGs after a very smart initial attack by sC.
Writer's Note: Holy wow at that Bunker placement along with the Marine and SCV positioning. My writeup doesn't do it justice, you'll need to watch it for yourself if you can. Basically the Bunker was positioned in such a way that the Marines were in a small pocket, while the SCVs were blocking the way in to the Marines on stop position, meaning that the AI of NesTea's attacking units saw the Marines as a higher threat than the SCVs. Having to focus SCVs in that position would be extremely frustrating.
Game 2 - Xel’Naga Fortress
esTea spawns at 11 while sC spawns at 7 as the Terran walls in quickly. In a similar fashion to the last game, sC goes for the same build and pushes out with the same amount of Marines and SCVs however NesTea is able to clean it up with some hidden Zerglings but does lose a Queen in the process. Both players begin to expand as sC’s initial pressure gives him a slight economic lead over the Zerg who had to commit more Drones to units. sC begins to create two Factories for some Hellion pressure while Zerg goes for a very fast 2nd expansion along with a Roach Warren.
Blue-Flame begins for sC as a lot of Hellions begin to produce. NesTea content on staying at Hatchery tech, throws down a Spine Crawler while Droning very heavily behind it. sC now flies his auxiliary Command Center to secure his natural, as the Zerg goes for Lair and Baneling Nest. sC begins to move out with a lot Marines along with around 10 Hellions, as the Terran begins to roast Creep Tumors left and right. As NesTea chases the Marines away with his Roaches, sC pulls his Hellions to a position so that the Hellions can go for a run-by, and in a successful risk, sC gets a lot of Drone kills with his entire Hellion force.
sC begins to make Tanks while NesTea spawns in a lot of Banelings. As sC begins to establish a foothold outside the Zergs base, NesTea pushes out with a lot of Roaches and breaks the contain while producing a lot of Mutalisks behind it. The Mutalisk harassment begins in the main of sC, doing a considerable amount of damage to SCVs and Supply Depots. sC begins Missile Turret production however NesTea dives in to the second expansion of sC killing even more SCVs just before the turret finishes. Mutalisks continue to pick off Marines out of position, as NesTea continues to pump Zerglings and Banelings, preparing for a huge push.
NesTea attempts to take a 5th base, however Marines appear at almost the exact same time to shut it down, as well as push up to the 4th to try do damage, but it’s denied by the swift movement of the Mutalisk flock. NesTea going for the kill, pushes his entire force in to the expansion of sC, doing huge damage to the Tank line, but is forced to move back as reinforcing Marines could threaten his Mutalisk count. NesTea morphs in 50 more Banelings and rolls to victroy claiming the GG to tie the series.
Game 3 - Tal’Darim Altar
sC spawns at 2 while NesTea spawns at 7 after displaying a strong comeback in the previous game. sC instantly begins to wall in his natural with double Barracks, as NesTea goes for his standard Spawning Pool before Hatchery build. Both players begin to expand as sC decides not to put on the early pressure he’s been doing in the past few games. Each player decides to play a more passive early game, as sC goes for a Factory quickly followed by a Starport and the Zerg goes for a Baneling Nest, Lair and second Expansion. sC goes for a double Medivac drop, however a Overlord spots them as soon as they leave sC’s base, although sC manages to still do a lot of damage regardless.
As NesTea begins Baneling production and Baneling Speed, Mutalisks pop out and finally shut down the harassment. NesTea begins to research Burrow and morph in an Infestation Pit , as sC goes for an Armory. The Zerg now morphs in his Hive along with beginning Pathogen Glands for Infestors, as well as expanding to a 5th base, establishing a huge economy. NesTea burrows a tonne of Banelings in the front of sC’s base, however a scan from the Terran denies the damge being done. sC however splits his force and NesTea goes for the counter, doing significant damage to the SCV line but it’s shut down quickly by a huge amount of Marines.
NesTea now begins to produce loads of Spine Crawlers in mid-field as he attempts to tech up to Broodlords. Huge Fungal Growths land on all the Marines of sC, as 10 Broodlords morph in, while the Zerg continues the Mutalisk harass in the main of the Terran. NesTea moves in with the Broodlords and forces the Terran retreat, however Fungal Growth’s deny the retreat while the Zerg goes for an Ultralisk Cavern. NesTea pushes in to the natural of sC with great Fungal’s yet again, and the Broodlord/Mutalisk combination push in to do huge damage. sC attempts to counter with a huge drop but the reinforcing of NesTea is too great, as the swarm decimates the main of sC. GG from sC after attempting to drop everywhere but it was just not enough.
Game 4 - Terminus SE
sC spawns at 3 while NesTea spawns at 6. sC begins to wall-in at his natural while NesTea predictably goes for his Spawning Pool before Hatchery again. Both players go for the quick expansion as NesTea begins to work on the destructible rocks of sC with Zerglings. NesTea goes for a second expansion as well as a Roach Warren, as sC begins to move out across the map with a Marines, however NesTea surrounds them pretty easily and kills them quickly.
With a Lair now morphing in, NesTea continues to beat down the rocks of sC, however a good second wall-in from sC will deny any damage from being done in his natural. Zerg now goes for the Baneling Nest and Glial Reconstitution as a huge number of Factories and Barracks go down for the Terran. NesTea morphs in a lot of Banelings and begins to pursue the Biological force of sC but decides to go home shortly after. sC now goes for Tanks and Siege Tech as Baneling Speed begins along with constant Roach Production.
NesTea pushes in to the position of sC, killing the Tanks with his Roaches, however the Banelings don’t get a good connect with the Marines, and the Bio force of sC pushes NesTea’s army away. With a Spire now in production, NesTea’s natural falls vulnerable to the heavy Marine composition of sC, who kills the natural Hatchery along with Tank support. NesTea GGs so an ace match will decide this extremely close TvZ series.
Game 5 - Crossfire SE
On to the final match of the day now, and NesTea spawns at 1 while sC spawns at 7. Both players by now go for builds we’re all used to by now after watching the previous games. Both players go for an expansion as speed finishes for Zerglings and sC continues to pump Marines. Both players continue to be rather passive, as NesTea goes for Lair and Baneling Nest, while sC goes for a Factory and Siege Tanks.
NesTea goes for a 10 minute 2nd expansion, as Tanks and Marines move out across the map. NesTea however goes for some Spine Crawlers far ahead of his natural, along with Glial Reconstitution, Burrow and Baneling Speed. As sC sieges up the 2nd expansion of the Zerg, NesTea pushes in from behind and breaks the attack with Roaches/Banelings/Zerglings. During this time sC has build a 3rd Command Center, and the Terran goes for a second push on the 2nd expansion of NesTea yet again, but is denied by a Roach/Baneling composition. Zerg during all of this has been going for some great creep spread, along with a Spire. sC goes for yet another push on the second expansion, however an amazing Baneling burrow placement takes out a huge amount of Marines, forcing sC to retreat.
NesTea goes for a 4th base which is quickly spotted by sC with a lone Marine. a Dozen Marines push up in to the 4th expansion and force the cancel, while a duel Medivac drop goes down in the 2nd expansion of NesTea, killing off the Hatchery as the Terran moves in to better position with his Tank/Marine force. NesTea goes for his own harass, pushing in to the natural of sC with a tonne of Mutalisks and takes out a Command Center. NesTea goes for the push in to the Tank line, and after killing 3-4 Tanks decides to retreat as they were slightly out of position.
NesTea continues the Mutalisk harass, however a good chunk of Marines do a lot of damage to them as the Zerg goes for a gold base. sC attempts to secure his natural again as NesTea puts a lot of Burrowed Banelings across the map, forcing a lot of scans. Terran now begins to create Thors to deal with the Mutalisks, as sC continues to leap frog his tanks toward the expansions of the Zerg. NesTea in a desperate attempt to break out of this pressure, goes for a push with his entire force, killing off a lot of the Terran army, but there are too many Marines left over, which clean up the gold base shortly after.
NesTea cleverly counters an expansion, forcing it to lift off with Mutalisks, as a tonne of Zerglings move in and kill off the whole line of SCVs. Both players hardly mining, sC’s army of death moves ever closer to the natural of NesTea, slowly pushing his Tanks along inch by inch. NesTea attempts to take out as much of the reinforcing units as possible, however the scary force of sC moves ever closer.
With great control, NesTea continues to poke the contain with Mutalisks, and completely shuts down sC’s mining. NesTea pushes in with a massive amount of Banelings and Mutalisks, losing a lot of his ground army but saving his Mutalisks. The Zerg with Infestors on the way, continues to take out Tanks with Mutalisks. Fungals go down on the Marines as two Thors walk in to the main of NesTea. A huge amount of Zerglings pop out but they’re unable to clean up the Thors and Marines. As sC attempts to expand, a burrowed Zergling denies the landing, and NesTea pushes in to the remaining force of sC, taking it out with the remaining Mutalisks. sC calls GG in an epic last game.
And going on to the Code S finals we have...
