Seems a good a place as any... anyone know of any good youtube casters ? I split most of my day up between Japanese and Starcraft... if I could combine them. that'd be awesome,
btw.. isn't livedoor just the same kind of thing as Xfire?

Perhaps Team Liquid could petition Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo to add a Team Liquid channel/selection/option thing? Actually from what I've been told, people in Japan aren't very competitive with each other, the prefer single player games and such. It's just their culture, so the SC2 scene wouldn't pick up very well over there. Where as in the US where competition is more important than air it's self (and I guess Korea ^_^) SC2 is thriving. two words Daigo Umehara ^_^

Either way I thought it was neat, and I would personally participate in all the events since I am studying japanese and planning on teaching there in the future, but latency issues makes many games unplayable, save maybe sc2.

Fast hand Japanese players prefer to play in Arcade fighting games. Strategical ones play Koei Strategy games and the nerds play RPG. Japan has always been secluded into their own community in terms of agriculture (not buying imports), food (banning US beef) and entertainment (buying their own games). It's more of a cultural thing.

[22:05:53] 真太: then I hope I can make some training center for Japanese gamers [22:06:02] 真太: in Tokyo or Kyoto [22:06:28] 真太: my organization is Global, but I want to ask for Japanese to support us [22:06:52] 真太: we need more fans so we can attract more sponsors [22:07:59] 真太: can you understand that? [22:08:08] kumazo-: ya [22:08:21] kumazo-: and plz tell me your website and contact [22:08:39] 真太: our website is still making [22:09:25] 真太: it will be finished 2nd week of April or so [22:09:53] 真太: everyone in our organization is working hard, we are all very serious about gaming [22:10:53] 真太: my contact: BNET NA server Shinta [22:11:34] 真太: facebook fan page here:http://www.facebook.com/GO.Electronic.Sports [22:11:42] kumazo-: ok [22:12:09] kumazo-: i will translate it and introduce japanese community [22:12:25] 真太: okay thank you [22:14:47] 真太: if you can find any players who want to try their best to become PRO, you can find out their schedule information so we can set up weekly practice times [22:15:01] kumazo-: but japanese cant meet your expectation i think [22:15:29] 真太: maybe [22:16:02] 真太: I think if ENZA and USiGoD tried harder, they could be very big in the old WC3 pro scene [22:16:28] 真太: at that time I was not working with any professional organization, so I could only watch [22:16:44] 真太: so now I want to try to support any Japanese who want to be at the top level [22:16:54] kumazo-: i see [22:17:11] 真太: ENZA should know that I support smaller countries [22:17:36] 真太: before my team was the top players from Malaysia Indonesia Singapore and Vietnam [22:17:51] enza: u got revenant? :D [22:17:53] 真太: yeah [22:17:58] enza: ohh [22:17:58] enza: good [22:18:09] 真太: but at that time Revenant was already unmotivated [22:18:36] 真太: if Revenant joined me a long time ago during the time of Army and EsM, then I could make him a professional player [22:18:50] enza: oo [22:18:54] 真太: same for ENZA, I could have made you a professional player [22:19:11] 真太: but at that time nobody knows me, so nobody would follow me [22:19:46] 真太: the important thing is to try your best together [22:20:19] 真太: if we have some team like Kim Revenant orcbaby Freedom, and we have some serious training [22:20:26] 真太: then all 4 can be top level [22:20:32] enza: oo [22:20:38] enza: kim and orcbaby play sc2? [22:20:43] 真太: nope [22:20:47] 真太: I just say an example from wc3 [22:20:52] enza: aa [22:20:54] enza: isee [22:21:17] 真太: if only 1 player from that team is trying for top level, then no player can reach top level [22:21:59] 真太: that's why I want to search for all the top Japanese players who want to try for PRO level [22:22:22] 真太: we can make weekly practice times, and I will be their coach so they can try to improve together [22:22:27] enza: enoch [22:22:30] enza: hes want pro level [22:22:34] enza: but hes cant speak english [22:22:50] 真太: I see [22:22:57] enza: hes 17-18age [22:23:05] 真太: that's a good age [22:23:08] enza: yea [22:23:28] 真太: so I need a Japanese assistant [22:23:38] 真太: someone who can join with all of us in practice times [22:23:42] 真太: and can translate for me [22:24:07] enza: ;; [22:24:27] 真太: it will require some work [22:25:26] 真太: I will make weekly reports, that means I will write once a week about each players progress, each players weakness, each players strength, etc [22:25:33] 真太: and someone can translate for me [22:26:12] 真太: like I said before, anything is possible, but I need some help if I can be successful [22:26:25] 真太: maybe kumazo ? [22:26:45] kumazo-: im busy in full time work [22:26:55] kumazo-: so i cant help you fully [22:27:26] 真太: k [22:27:46] 真太: I'm also busy with full time work, but I work super overtime for sc2 [22:27:53] 真太: [22:29:31] 真太: anyways for now you can advertise my offer [22:29:42] 真太: thanks so much for your help [22:29:45] kumazo-: np I left out some of his more personal contact info. But, from the chat, his b.net name is Shinta and his facebook fanpage is apparently http://www.facebook.com/GO.Electronic.Sports . If this is legit, it would mean a lot of hype for the Japanese SC2 scene.
