The beginning was mainly comedy, then it switched to shonen arcs. The beginning fillers were pretty good imo, not just a random thing but to show character personalities/relationship development. The first part is about recruiting his "family" or a team of 7 members, each with supposedly unique attributes. Some parts of the arcs are adventurous where they split up, kind of like the CP9 in one piece. But most of the time, the final battles are always mirror battles. Each member face off with the enemy's member that focus on the same attributes (eg. illusion vs illusion). Imo, these final battles are rather stale. They end quickly though, usually 1-2 per member battle, but the battle is usually just a new power without any much cool things. Most battles are also complete dominance with the new power. Sometimes, when an early battle is finished, the plot just jumps to the final boss coming out and the arc ends early. Hope I was helpful, I don't think I spoiled too much. | ||
