Yesterday's broadcast has had its issues. We all saw it. There are 10+ pages of whining. There is an entirely new cast going on now. Please keep whining about issues experienced yesterday to yourself going forward in the thread and allow other people to enjoy the games. |

Maybe the Korean scene (and ladder) just have a better read on him. Used to his style.

The biggest question so far for me is, will these matches be shown in his Reality show?
That'd be sick :D

First the Canucks win, then Boxer... :D My favorite kind of night. Go Canucks, go Boxer :D
<3<3<3!!! Hell yeah Emperor up in this NASL maw. Glad to see him doing really good and picking it up.

Boxer finally stepping up, proving that he is the emperor! So happy.

Please fix the grammar. Is it really necessary that I paid twenty fiver dollars to only get stuck reading horrible comma usage and incorrect possessive intent.
Boxer does not outmacro his opponent's. He outmacros his opponents. So on.
But I am so excited to see Boxer do well.I loved watching him take his TSL match, and I loved watching him play in NASL.

What are you talking about?
He's only played one set in the NASL, and he won.

if nothing else, NASL, TSL, GSL, thank you all, for bringing back BoxeR. Words cannot express, watching the transformation of BoxeR's game and seeing him just seemingly get better and better, and get results. God this is an awesome time to be a starcraft fan.

I agree with iNcontroL on this one. Now everyone says that these mistakes are ruining the whole NASL experience but I disagree. This is something new that is just getting started and naturally will take time. This is just like when TV was first introduced, at first it wasn't that great but it grew exponentially as time went on and the problems were fixed. All you have to do is have patience and faith that the NASL will soon be one of the greatest leagues in the world, I think will.

People were saying from the start that the people in charge were NOT the right people to be running a league. You yourself say that NONE of you come from a broadcasting/league background, what did you expect to happen?
Here's the thing.
Broadcasting skills can (and will) be learned. Passion for Starcraft can't. Ideally, you would get people passionate for Starcraft who were ALSO experienced broadcasters, but those people don't actually exist outside of Korea. So you have a choice between people who are passionate about Starcraft but inexperienced in broadcasting, or experienced broadcasters who don't know a thing about Starcraft.
I know which one I would choose.
This is just me, but I kind of like the early days of any new thing, when it's still finding it's feet and making mistakes. It adds a certain charm. In time, the NASL will get experienced and be way more awesome and polished. I will still be a fan then, but I will wax nostalgic about the beginning, when things were just getting started.
The important thing is listening to and responding to feedback, and the NASL has already showed that they are doing just that. It's only been a week and things have already improved. I'm very optimistic about the future.

spoiler ahead if anyone hasn't seen the recent games
Hmm... anyone else feel like Boxer threw the 2nd game just to make it more interesting? It just seems this way to me because he dominated the 1st and 3rd.

Gotta say, it's a real treat to see Boxer claw his way up through tournaments. We can all see he has the skills required to be a champion, but on the flip side, it's obvious there's still more he has to learn about SC2. Frankly, I think it would be boring if he was just way too gosu for his opponents.

No Idra v Socke games recommended?

Could someone give me a summary of the idra - socke games? Thanks in advance.

Each game was pretty one sided sadly. Although if you are a zerg player all 3 games should be a must watch. Idra deals with some very common openings which are giving us all heart attacks lol
