I'm not exactly sure where to look in particular, and though I've already checked a few other options out, I'd like to stay within the (gaming) community if possible, so I've finally decided to ask here, publicly.
I need a web developer for a Starcraft-related project. Preferably someone good, of course -- you can e-mail me your website/portfolio at cedriccook1 at your good old gmail dot com. Yes, it will be paid, of course. I'll go in to specifics of the site and design via e-mail discussion. For a time-frame, sooner is better, but we can discuss that as it comes -- as long as it can be finished by June'ish.
Basics: I've been told that I'll likely need a custom CMS by people, though I'm sure some developers have their own base CMS that they can easily alter -- that's an uneducated guess, though. It will be be very forum-centric, and I'll need to be able to make front-page news posts. If you're interested, PM/e-mail, as I've said.
Thanks, folks!

I'd love to offer my help, but I'm guessing the 10hrs/week that I'd be able to offer wouldn't cut it. I already work full-time as a software developer and I'd be kidding us both if I thought I could commit to anything more than that.
Good luck finding someone! You might be able to search through the TL manpower thread or the giant programming thread to find someone that you can specifically PM.

Could you briefly state what u need? would save everyone alot of time. simple stuff like:
Backend: yes/no (if yes what kind? PHP/ASP) Database: yes/no Deadline for project
that way you can filter alot of people for the job

Updated with what I'm willing to share publicly/what I can actually specify with my own knowledge

I'm almost a hundred perfect sure we don't allow posts like these, even if they are paid. If it was a full-time position with a company and a salary then it would be different, but this seems as a contracted one-off job.
