Is it true that certain streaming services (rumors said this for Justin.tv) pay 0,2$Cent (0,002$) per ad that is beeing shown to a viewer? Heard that certain people (like Destiny and then probably, for example, Grubby, too) make quite an income this way, by these assumptions:
0,002$ per ad played, avg. 4 ads per hour for each viewer, 6 hours streaming per day, average of 4000 Viewers.
This would actually result in 192$/day, or more than 5700$ a month when streamed absolutely every day, quite impressive numbers though. But this assumption creates 42 hours of content each week attracting many viewers after all.
So, main question: Does anybody here know how much streaming sites pay to their broadcasters? Are these realistic dimensions here?
