God damn. I always hated that stupid livestream procaster (i couldn't stream with 3gb ram and a 1.5gb ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 of my laptop rofl, it drains that much of a memory). This means that my computer is now capable of streaming pokemon (ROFL).
Today, I got myself an own3d.tv account, tried a test stream with brood war (windowed mode ofc. Xsplit doesn't support full screen game streaming yet). I had no problems with BW when it was only myself. Quality is still godawful (I set it to a maximum bitrate of 480 and i streamed with ~200) but at least i have a stream and my computer is capable of handling it.

My only problem is that I have to play on this big of a screen. Other than that, it currently seems fine.
But, I got problems with fine tune of that thing. I average a download speed of 5-6 mbps and an upload speed of 0.63 (I got the exact number for a few times). I think I can stream with a higher bitrate, but then I think that I can't because if I could, I could max my limit of 480 and not stay at ~200 for the whole time.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that. I am considering to apply to get my own channel on TL (at 30th of March, I registered on 30th of December). I also have to check on the requirements for getting my channel on TL (other than being a member for 3 months ofc).

Weird, I stream with xsplit + livestream on 300 bitrate and my quality is pretty good O.o It's way better quality than camtasia + FMLE.

I never tried livestream with xsplit (instead i used that stupid livestream procaster, STUPID LIVESTREAM PROCASTER). I don't think livestream is not that bad, but own3d looks way better. And, doesn't Xsplit pop up ads on livestream that are as big as 1/4 of the screen?

Tomorrow, I have no school due to weather conditions (my city has more snow right now than all winter combined). That means, MOAR GAMES!!! Right now, I'm 3-12 (YAY) and digging all my way to 0.

is that because of XP?
i had that problem too and worked around it by setting my audio recording settings in window to what i hear^^
