The $1499 price tag brought down to $899.99 makes it very appealing. The only thing I'm concerned about is the 16" size (I'd prefer smaller, but can't seem to find anything 14" with a decent graphics card) and older GTX 285M. Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone else have any other suggestions for a smaller laptop with similar specs and/or if the GTX 285M is going to be a big deal. I know it's a great graphics card; just a little old.

The Asus warranty too is spectacular. First 7 days you can send it back if you don't want it for full money back, and then you have a year warranty for any accidents(because they do happen). They're super good about warranty, and the staff is always pleasant. I believe Day9 used an MSI notebook to do some streaming for games, and it honestly wasn't that great of a notebook. With Asus, you're paying for the quality. So. ^__^ I'd personally rather pay for better graphics card with 4gb of ram than 6gb of ram for a *decent* video card. I just asked a few co workers, and they said the same thing. *nod* Good luck choosing!

Can someone suggest an ASUS for around the same price? ($1000) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220871 Would this play SC2 well? I'm really confused by notebook graphics cards (apparently a lot of people are too). What about this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220796

But if they're for accidents like getting dropped and such, I've never had such an issue in 12 years, so I don't care too much for good warranties. I wouldn't know. I just deal with sales. But I see them going back in. We don't accept RMAs for things like them being dropped. Our warranty does not cover that. Let your imagination run wild~ But, like I said, if we're looking at specs.. A better graphics card in the end is going to be more important in the long run than more RAM.
