He has much weaker nerves than anyone thinks of and in long game a consistent player can exploit this. This is the way he lost to Light, and Ssak, and Classic. But while TvT is all about battles and macro, in other match-ups he can be better because there are a lot of possibilities to quickly swing the game in your favor or just out-strategy your opponent by countering his build (remember that Flash has

I mean, Flash made a pretty bad and overconfident decision in triple expanding which forced flash to spread his line out a bit too far and ssak got that timing right and rolled out and took center, which allowed for some consistent vulture harass that starved flash out. Good play from Ssak, but i dont think it was really "outplaying" Also i completely disagree with people who say Flash's tvt is shaky lol

So I'd not say that this is uncharacteristic of Flash. I don't say TvT of Flash is shaky. I just point at the fact that Flash has weak points and one of them is psychology and nerves. Don't forget that our bonjwa is only 18 (!!) years old.

Are we talking about the same Flash who for instance ape-smashes JD (who is widely considered one of the greatest of all time when it comes to mental strenght and mind games) in a Game 5 in an OSL final?

Looking on the bright side, hopefully he'll also be able to take a bit of a break since he's not in MSL anymore. He had OSL and PL just the day before MSL, it's got to be mentally and physically tiring. He'll become stronger from this, I have no doubt. Flash hwaiting! (It'd be kinda super imba for him to win 3 MSL's in a row anyways... I'm cheering for Bisu all the way now)

Cool down, oh please. I've watched it all. I've been following flash previous season too. The previous season got flash to the point where he was not meeting any resistance at all. JD has seen that the Zerg play needs evolution or you simply can't handle Terran standard play. JD really showed out all of his skill, but it was still not enough. So, something is probably wrong with overall play, not with skill of a player, and maybe JD or someone comes up with a decision this or next season. I was seriously impressed with JD more than with Flash, because the latest just was using the play that hadn't got any known counters - and still JD made the game extremely close. But the zerg's aren't generally used to long games so anyway in this part they aren't better than the Terran, and particularly than Flash. But I think we aren't talking about JD now, he knows his weaknesses even better than we do :D I've seen this season and still was talking about Flash's weak point being his nerves and seeing his opponent play flawlessly too. So now why I should change my mind, especially when I see the approvements of it? X_x I'm not going to discuss the strong points of Flash as they're obvious and anyone already said them.
