I've had some experiences with them before:
1) Last time I sent them an article + pictures (about a philanthropy event), they completely miswrote/misquoted (fabricated things people said) the article and used pictures in different ways
2) When it comes to actual issues and politics, their articles look like hastily written shitty essays (which they probably are) without substantial sources or real arguments.
Say I submitted this article with a "final cut" clause saying that if they choose to edit content then it has to be approved by me before being published/can't use, quote, or otherwise use my article as a reference (basically you take this or you don't touch it and use it in any way without my approval), and they misuse it. Butchered it, misquoted it...I can't predict what they'll do to it.
When this happens, what rights do I have to punish them/force their practices out in the open to change them? How would I do this? And should my "final cut" clause have a certain kind of wording?
Where else could I look to find methods to go about this?
