Idra lost and won nothing by playing huk (except pride) correct? Hilarious how EG set it up so Idra was like the 'final boss' of the tournament. Thats something to do for the team. And i'm sure their contract has something written down about games like these when Idra is available.

Very mind gamey from Grack..... Didn't stop MorroW ^^

I'm just amazed how he is able to roll the top NA players with consistency if they do not pressure early and often. HuK sentry heavy force and pushes into the main of his opponents is a very cool idea and seems to work well. However after that first push I felt like he was allowing Idra to relax too much, resulting in 200/200 armies that just never seemed to diminish. I've been watching some of the GSL, and its likely the types of games I'm looking for are there. Interested to see if its a NA player thing where, or if it's just early still in SC2 to say? Also, tons of credit to HuK. I love watching him play, his style continues to evolve, which keeping the fun / flare that makes us all love him.

Very mind gamey from Grack..... This has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read in my entire life. IdrA roflstomped Huk for the 2nd time and you're saying it's because Huk is afraid that IdrA will say unkind things as regard to his tactics? If that's REALLY Huk's excuse (and I know it isn't)... NOBODY would be his fan. I would never root for someone who's afraid of a little smack talk. Besides.... he's going to need more excuses than that if he flops big time at GSL3...

However, SC2 being more of a gentleman's game that the majority of other games played online, I can see a little truth to this. I don't think any of the top players would like to be seens as "one trick ponies" or "cheesy players" in the eyes of their peers. Sure, at the end of the day, the all mighty dollar rules all, but with the SC2 community it seems that the public image is important. I do not think it would be "good" for the esport if cheesy play was the norm in tournaments. These thoughts are coming from a complete noob both to the SC world and RTS games in general, so its very likely I'm wrong.

This is just my opinion of course, but i think seeking respect and a good public image is one of the worst things you can attempt to do. And while you call yourself a HuK fan, I imagine he'd be pretty insulted at your suggestion that he fell for idras mindgames because he was trying to earn idras respect. Just as an aside, is Idra even that weak to cheese/early pressure anymore? People spout it off as a fact on these boards every day, but games i've watched of him playing recently he's dealt with the pressure pretty swiftly. You could say that he loses more to high early pressure i guess, but all that is saying is that his early game isnt quite as good as his macro game. which doesnt really mean anything.
