E is the hotkey for probes, pylons and sentries. It's kinda the default spam key for protoss... I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to make that +1 air.

That shit happens to me all the time, E is the hotkey for probe and you don't have to select your core to chrono it. If that shit happens to you all the time you have problems. It's an upgrade you get in 99% of games at the very beginning when practically nothing else is happening.
It's virtually impossible to do that, let alone to not once check the progress of the upgrade and realize the icon is completely wrong. He knew what he was doing, just like he knew his mothership rush against a guy who does the exact same 1 base marine marauder attack was destined to fail. You really think it's a coincidence these stunts happen when he's getting smashed?

Thought it was a great tournament with the exception of the stream dying a couple of time. Awsome matches with awsome commentators keep it coming!

Dude I'm pretty sure it was a mistake. He didn't throw down a stargate or anything, its not like his build was in any way oriented towards going for air.

The air upgrade was definitely a mistake. As protoss you press the E key a lot, as other players have already mentioned. And if you have health bars on when you play then you never need to click on the core again, you can see the progress of the upgrade (that you think is warpgate) and keep chronoboosting it all without ever realizing it was the wrong upgrade.
Your argument that Huk is just throwing stuff away when he's "getting smashed" is ridiculous. He was down 2-1. He also made a mothership against machine earlier today when he was leading the series 2-1, and oh btw he won that game to finish the series. Nice try though.

Obviously, it was IdrA that telekinetically pressed the 'E' key for HuK, and it was out of congratulations for lpaying Protoss.

I think it was a mistake, in a normal game I'm sure he would notice, as most players do, I think his nerves might have gotten the best of him in this case, I doubt he just "upgraded +1 air weapon to throw the game away"... that's pointless.

air weapons is W with classic hotkeys and W isn't used for anything else so all the theories about hitting E a lot are wrong

I feel like Huk had game 2 when he ran up the ramp, I didn't understand in either game 1 or 2 why he didn't just go right for the drones. It's not like he couldn't forcefield the ramp. Zerg had NOTHING on the top. He just sat there and did NOTHING.

Pleas, where can I find the replays/vods from Huk vs Idra?

Mental block, man, mental block. When you start losing against someone you've lost a lot to, it just goes downhill from there as you start telling yourself you're going to lose subconsciously.
Huk was obviously really off his game the last game they played. He may have been in a better condition had he won games 2 or 3 but getting dominated two games in a row with the play you're used to rolling over other Zergs with just makes it very hard to continue.

I don't think it would be W as W is the key for warpgates.. blizzard made damn sure nothing clashed with the warpgates key.
But missing 50 gas in the beginning would be pretty noticeable. For me before 30 supply I can pretty much recite my gas count at any moment, and I'm not even a top level player. For someone who plays at that high of a level it would be pretty obvious if you're missing 50 gas early game.

Why do you suppose HuK threw down more gateways after getting the air weapons upgrade?

I have no clue what happened in the last game, but W in classic is indeed the hotkey for upgrading air weapons lvl1.

its a mistake. doesn't matter how it happened lol, he didn't mean to chronoboost air attacks 5 times and not make a stargate till he was pretty much dead.
if it wasn't a mistake, then TLAF/TL should rethink sending him to Korea give it a rest and leave him alone

wow are you serious? blizzard made a big deal to change the burrow hotkey from w to r, because it would've clashed with warpgates in the event that a zerg player np'd a probe and made a nexus, and somehow teched to warpgate tech.

They said in Classic set-up. Sure what you're saying holds true there as well? I was assuming NonY knew what set-up HuK used and was posting accordingly.
