Haha.. I could be wrong, I just double checked it. Air weapons is E for SC2, I believe it was W in SC.
and yes, it is G for warp gate technology.
This is all using Standard hotkeys.
Edit: Ahhh. Tyler was talking about a whole set of keys called "classic" which is probably named after being the SC hotkeys. I'm an idiot, sorrry.

Oh classic hotkeys ok. It's E for standard SC2 hotkeys.

everythign ran on time, was organized, and great casting. Was nice to see a nonGSL run so smoothly (minus Ustream :/) Thx for the show guys.

On the whole Idra BM thing it could have been caused by Huks bad GG timing. Idra had clearly won the game and perhaps viewed Huks reluctance to GG insulting to him. Not leaving after being rolled so hard could just be viewed as figuring your opponent is terrible enough to fail and blow a massive advantage.

What they did with the laptop reminded me of a dog chasing a bone on a stick tied to his head.
I don't see why Idra wouldn't just throw the series, it's not like he had anything to gain. What a dick.
|
It enjoyed the matches, despite the anticlimactic ending. I would have liked to see what Huk or Idra had to say about that last match. would be interesting.
|
Anyone care to explain for those of us who couldn't see it, what happened in the match between idra and huk that everyone is discussing?

Great weekend of games, great casting, great production.
I also really appreciated that after each series, the brackets were shown, kept up-to-date and then before the finals Day9 and Wheat did a little recap of what was casted. Thanks for that little bit.

Why should have throw a series just so huk could get a laptop? He doesn't benefit on anything people would be like "omg huk beat Idra huk = best player of the world1?!?!" And get a laptop. Does nothing but hurt Idra.
Idra's just a beast stomped him again as expected lol.
Glad EG hosted this tournament it was run very good and was very fun too watch and can't thank them enough how awesome this tournament was and how fast the vods went up! Hope you guys do it again

It's too bad that the laptop was worth more than the 1st place prize. They should've made 1st place win the laptop and beating Idra be for extra cash.
|
no replay pack? please please give us replay pack.
|
Back in the quake live beat it tournament they said that "Dahang (EG plalyer, equivalent of idra on this stand point) automatically gets a laptop, and i believe it was rapha (equivalent of huk in this situation) was fighting for it. There is absolutely no reason to throw the set and give huk a laptop though, they are both competitors and there to win.

will there be downloadable replays for this ?|
|
Tbh even if HuK won, people would be going on about IdrA losing due to jetlag, lack of motivation and what not.
Either way, sooner or later the day will come when HuK 3-0s him. He just needs some time in a professional training environment instead of laddering and stomping the NA scene.

your really good at upgrading air weapons
very useful talent toi have

idra's apm is unusually 'low' during the showmatch i am interested to know if he was playing on his max performance there hehe. nonetheless, i think idra should take the showmatch lightly, do some nonstandard play etc, let us know he is going easy with HuK for this time(since idra wont get the laptop anyway duh!).

Thanks for the Tournament, SirScoots, Wheat, Day9, MSI, MLG guy and everyone who was behind it.
It was one of the best 'mini' events so far i have seen. Despite the few crashes, it was professional all the way. Camera/camera angles, great advertising(i hope that is the right word for it?), great casters, and great production and overall it was just great to watch. Even tho i was watching from Europe, it was definitely worth to stay up till morning.
You guys know how to do these events, thank you again.

who cares if idra is bm, it brings excitement. stop trying to korean, cuz ur not

Good shit to Idra on the rape today. It's not easy to get off a plane and stomp someone into the ground so hard he starts upgrading units he doesn't have.
He should have tried to steal a probe and mothership rush HuK imo.
Here's to hoping HuK goes into to the lab with the replays from today and comes out looking better for MLG Dallas.

On Idra's final attack on HuK, he took drones with him and rallied them to build hatcheries inside HuK's main. It was obvious that HuK had lost the game and wouldn't be able to come back way before that attack, and he was just making the game last longer than it had to.
Add to that that Idra had just come from a flight from Korea to the US and basically immediately started playing and probably wasn't in the mood to be fooled with. I don't know why people call it BM, it's perfectly understandable that there's a point when you don't want people wasting your time.
And regarding the one guy who said that he should just have given the series to HuK for the laptop - why should he? The sponsor wants his product to be fought for, not given freely, and Idra showed an impressive performance outclassing HuK who steamrolled most of his opponents up to that point. It was as much a fight for MSI as it was for Idra.
