I was searching for a certain poll and I noticed that teamliquid had a history of ALL the official polls on one page and I thought it would be interesting to see the history of TL polls
Without further ado.. (click on images for full res)
A general history of poll vote #s, marking more-popular-than-normal polls: My conclusion: rivalries get people excited >.> also r1ch hax
To look at less-popular-than-normal polls, it would be easier to see a logscale graph of above: My conclusion: nobody cares about SC2GG and SNSD + Show Spoiler [SNSD] +
Of course each poll has comments to go along with it.. let's look at the comments graph too: My conclusion: people talk about rivalries, themselves and progamer lewt.
started to hate snsd gee once i heard only the background music. i listened to gee for like 7 months and never noticed the background music. after i watched this once, i noticed the background music in Gee with vocals every single time.

this one makes me shake my head every time i look at a duck now
As a basketball stat geek, the only thing that has disappointed me about following SC2 is that there's no stats for me to drool over, aside from racial matchup statistics. There needs to be some sort of GSL box score. I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with BW to comment on whether it has enough data for me to ogle at.

There's sometimes a radar chart comes up in before BW matches that shows how the skills of each player match up (ie. macro, micro, star power (whatever the heck that means <_<), strategy, etc.). The values in this chart seem pretty arbitrary though since there's not really any quantitative values to base it on. Games in the OSL show the supply count and resource intake of each player (kinda like in SC2). Since you can't switch data screens ('cause it's the only data screen, lol), it provides pretty consistent data that you can do neat things with.
Barring that, there's always the R&S threads I guess?
