Remind me never to trust you in any future mafia game I'm in. NO ONE DESERVES SCORN IN MAFIA. THATS WHY YOUR BANNED JESUS U DONT GET IT DO YOU. Calm down please. No need to post like that here.

Masq got modkilled for not posting for 72 hours. Posted once in the voting thread but that's not enough given the restrictions of the game. Suggest a 1 game ban.

Regarding the latest mafia game:

Will take 18-24 people. Also this game doesn't count as a banlist game. That's my policy. This means that people who are banned may (at my discretion) be allowed to play. But it also means you can't pass this off as a game where you can use it to serve your ban.
I just don't see the point of having a "non-banlist" game that doesn't count as a banlist. It's the host's freedom to let people who are banned to be allowed to play. But is it not the user's freedom to count any game as a game you sit out? Both of those are voluntary decisions. You can't prevent users from using a current game to serve our bans.
Just like how I can't force the host to let banned players play, a host can't just stop a user from using it as a banlisted game.

If a player on the banlist started spamming/forcing his way into a thread that he wasn't allowed a TL mod would likely temp ban them and remove their mafia forum access.
That's the course of action I would suggest.

Hm? I'm not forcing my way into any thread. What are you talking about?

I misunderstood what you said because i just scanned it
nevermind
I would imagine nonbanlist games don't count toward fulfilling the terms of a game ban

I have been talking to him about this via PM. Please nobody flame him for asking about this. He made that post at my request.
On the one hand, he is sitting out a game he could have otherwise played. On the other hand, as far as that game is concerned, the banlist doesn't exist. Regardless, I'm curious to hear what other people think.

If he's willingly sitting out of a game he could have otherwise joined, I believe it counts.
|
seems to me sitting out a game is sitting out a game.

if you think that's how it works than so be it. It's just that I don't make/play mafia games as often as I usually do anymore, and having been on the banlist before (curse you flamewheel ) I'm not certain what people have done that has caused them to be temp banned. For me, the best thing to do is simply to operate at my own discretion. But my games are almost always wacky, and apply to very few people usually. So I think on one hand it's kind of like saying "i'll forgo one meal" and then counting the grass and weeds as a meal.
I dunno, it just kind of makes me sad that people would willingly choose to miss out on my games so they can play more standard mafia

Ghrur decided he didn't have enough time for the game and was replaced by Beneather. Because he asked the admins and contributed before that, as well as being active in previous games, I would like to suggest no penalty for him.

Hmm, I think Qatol's description was only added just today. Perhaps it can be changed as well to reflect this?

Orgolove, you don't want to miss out on one of caller's games. Sign up for it while you can!

That has been there for at least 6 months. I haven't changed anything other than banned members since OpZ asked about the poll (~ 2 weeks ago) and adding the request that people complain to the host first when complaining about other players ~4 months before that.
Besides, I have been thinking and I realized that you wouldn't be able to use Caller's game towards your ban anyways. The rule is you have to be sitting out of a game you would have otherwise played in. We don't allow people to play in 2 games at the same time here except when a game is winding down for obvious reasons. If you hadn't been modkilled, you would probably still be playing in Insane Mafia. Therefore, if Caller's game starts before Insane Mafia ends, this is a moot point for you.
That being said, I am still interested in what people have to say. I think you have an interesting point and I'm actually inclined to agree with you right now. But I'd like to hear the thoughts of others.

Um, am I mistaking this or wasn't 7 out of 9 players of Micro Mafia IV also in Haunted? Micro Mafia actually started, and ended, while Haunted was still going on. FYI, Micro 6 started at October 20th and ended October 26th, while Haunted ended October 28th - so it wasn't "winding down" given there was still ~9 days to go, with potentially more.

You are only dead in insane because you got modkilled.

Divinek, Misder and Fishball were modkilled in my game. For Fishball I definitely do not want a penalty as he was quite active in my game. For Divinek I request a 1 game ban since he was almost completely inactive. Misder was somewhat active and I'm a bit torn on him. I think a warning would do for him, though that is up to your discretion.
