Don't be a martyr. Don't be stupid.
That is more like it. Disagreement is perfectly fine. Funny jokes are fine too.

Waiting for Day9 to reply to this thread with "whoops, my bad."

This forum is not a democracy. The admins can do whatever the fuck they want, and thats their right. After all, they did give us such an awesome website.

This would have been funny had the stench of hypocrisy not been overwhelming

I love all the people that treat mules like they're this magical entity when their income has been figured out since the beta. These same people somehow have also failed to notice that the income tab fluctuates wildly with mules.

Seems to be a fad.

I totally came in here hoping to see an interesting discussion about some bug, glitch, or interesting quirk in the game someone may have found...
Suffice to say, I was sorely disappointed.

Posting 'this will probably get me banned', or any variation of it, will ALWAYS get you banned.

This is not arguing for or against imbalance. I am just disproving him.
Reading comprehension is usually a good skill to have. I'm not talking purely about balance, I'm saying the picture is potentially miss leading due to the lack of provided information. I could come in here with a screen shot of 100 SCVs vs 20 Probes, with the probes mining a higher income, and add no extra evidence. It would have exactly the same merit as the picture in the OP. How many patches were each mining from? Were they even all mining? Had some probes JUST been killed off? Were they long distance mining? You miss understood the entire point of the post. But hey, well done on blindly jumping in to try and throw around spite filled rebuttals just because you can. Ohh forums, how i love thee. Also, on a side note about the lack of delay. Do the MULEs ignore SCVs and other MULEs mining on the patch ENTIRELY? Or simple take priority over the SCV that would otherwise be mining the patch? Would be good to know. 10,000 people watched this happen, so a majority of the people know exactly what context this was in. effectively 24 probes at a normal base vs 3 mules at a normal base. This was a somewhat apt comparison between the two as there are no real confounding factors apart from instantaneous income. I agree that all your points could have screwed up the data since someone who didnt watch the game wouldn't know, but in this case none of it actually did. I think above someone posted the toss max income at 1200ish? well 3 mules return 810-900 mins over their lifetime of 1min(?) so thats 900 max income to 1200 max income, 24+ probes vs 3 mules in a more direct comparison. You can't really do a balance comparison since chrono boost isnt supposed to boost your econ while thats the one and only purpose of a mule. In this one situation mules look imba, but in X months when toss finds a uber-fast tech exploit with chrono maybe people will call that imba.

MULES can mine at the same time as an SCV on a mineral patch, but i dont think 2 MULES can mine on one patch.
