Recently got the Steelseries 6GV2 for £60 (black switches)
The brown ones are probably better for typing, though I prefer the black ones for everything even without the tactile feel they still feel great.
Some things I was worried about -They are not heavy at all, probably similar to rubber domes to press all the way down but you don't need to press them all the way down just tap them slightly and you will get the key registered -I wouldn't say they are 100% worth it for the money but over time as I get more used to them I find it unbearable to use other keyboards so there is something about them that makes them special

mechanical cherry keyboard. im good with that

I <3 my Filco Majestouch, brown switches. You really have to try a mechanical keyboard to know how mushy rubber domes feel.

Would you believe that I play on my laptop? I guess that's why I'm still in the Silver League :DDD

it allows me to spread creep faster

razor lycosa, never had any problems & I use it constantly. Been about 3years or so since I purchased it. Back light is still working perfectly. Only problem I have had with it, is the wsad keys have been warn down, so you can't see the letter anymore via back light.

Cherry eVolution. Got it for two year or so. I really like it. Very flat buttons, good feel, no loud sounds.

SteelSeries 7g. Owned G15's for years before I switched to this and they don't even compare

Razer does have a new KB with mechanical switches for like 80 EUR. WIth lots more features, why get this one over the razer one? Pls no answer like "because razer sucks" blabla, thanks.

FILCO is like the complete minimalist yet absolutely solid type keyboard. It has no extraneous features, especially if you get tenkeyless, and is wonderfully compact. Real gamers don't use macro keys anyway so if you're anything like me or the numerous other gamers that can appreciate the space saved and simplicity while maintaining all the solid important qualities - you definitely can't go wrong with FILCO.

Cherry Blue switches are like the worst for gaming.
razer ratio of trying to be flashy compared to having useful stuff is 50:1
durability of razer products is not as good as most other well known brands
they try to make dumb people think ghosting still exists by saying "no ghosting" and then giving a description of something that is not related to ghosting.(this is just an example, they do that with multiple of their "amazing features")
i don't trust razer
razer sucks overall

I may be lucky, but my Razer Tarantula may be the most durable keyboard I've ever had (I was a Microsoft and Logitech customer before).

Not really; I use cherry blues and they are just fine, pretty much the exact same thing as the browns, except for the click noise (which I am fine with). the main reason I'd get a filco over a razer keyboard is probably the durability and the NKRO rollover. Razer products aren't exactly the most long lasting, and NKRO is just plain useful and a must if you still use PS/2
