Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion.
For regular posters, don't quote the trolls. |

Have you ever approached someone who you thought was gay for sure and tried to pick him up only to have him tell you he was straight? Were they offended or flattered?

How many "straight gamers" threads do you see? Ugh these threads make me rage sooo hard. It seems people who advocate equality subliminally ask for segregation. Just play the game.
Edit: I am not hating on your sexuality, I just hate it when people make threads asking for attention. Seeing as you are a well known person on TL, welcome back, but that is because you are a player, not because you like men.
I hope this doesn't come across as homophobic, but I kind of get irritated when an individual's identity is so closely tied to their sexuality. Like being gay changes everything about who they are and they constantly advertise and refer to the fact that they are gay. Being openly gay/bi is fine, but it shouldn't define a person either.

Being black, white, or asian doesn't exactly define you either. But it does have an impact on your life, and changes the way people perceive and treat you. But honestly, this was a thread created with good intentions and it is pretty sickening for people to start bashing it, then change to just insulting gays in a non-direct way. "Oh I hate gays who..." and "But gays who do this are...". I really don't think that was the intention of this topic. No one posting in here is doing it solely for attention.
How about you take a second to stop and actually think. This is a starcraft forum. Most of the people who post here are in college. We all play an 11-year old computer game and know each other pretty damn well. As far as close-knit communities go, I'd say Team Liquid is one of them. How can anyone honestly believe someone would waltz in here for attention? How would being gay get you attention? Maybe if you were like sexually attracted to dolls and posted about it I'd understand but being gay isn't outlandish. It is a part of some people's lives.

I retract my statement I have no idea what I'm talking about. Carry on jolly rogers.

How do you tell apart gay guys? like at nightclubs or random casual places
|
Mora, I sincerely thank you for starting up a rather enlightening thread.
I think with the discovery of this thread and a manga series that explores the maturation of a bi-sexual called "Yubisaki Milk Tea," has helped me understand my own realization of my bi-sexuality. (Hence my alias here as well as my profile pic is of the main character from the manga lol).
On that note, how does the exclusively gay community feel about bi-sexuals? I know a few straight people who find exclusively homosexual individuals to be acceptable but not bi's.
Lastly I'd like to say hello and thank you to the TL community and to Mora! (I ]Just registered on TL.net since lurking here for 5 months XD).

What are you saying? That they all look alike to you?

omg, gender doesn't decide your behavior! ! A guy that only had his mother and sister growing up can in his behavior avoid being a "man" (I wonder who decided whats man and woman?) due lack of a father - and he could be more of an "man" cuz he wants to prove something (example) - but not the point!
A "woman" in Sweden is not a "woman" in Egypt and vice versa due to social heritage and culture differences. A gender is just a body and a slightly different brain.
Thinking like you produces hate and violence. IMO

How do you tell a girl wants you? Or how do you tell a girl you want her?

Flattered.
But then again, I am also flattered when a women tries to flirt with me. I just take it as assurance that I'm doing alright as a person if I can perk both male and female natural instincts.
As an aside, an interesting observation I've made is that women actually eye flirt as much as men do. Women just tend to do it a lot more subtly or if they've been spotted, they shy away quicker. Men tend to be more overt in trying to flirt. Something to keep in mind too is that I live in San Francisco where it is completely socially acceptable for gay men to openly try to flirt with other men.

What's wrong with you?
I have a question for the entire gay community. Have you ever gotten aroused by looking at yourself in the mirror?

I would put out for Jaedong if it could guarantee him victory today in the MSL finals.

It's really fucking sad that a user with a year old account made his first post just to call someone a faggot.
Some people in this world are just trash.

The funny thing is Mora probably wouldn't be that offended.
