Now i know some of you kids out there know of this guy and his music. Personally I enjoy most of his music (new stuff is more hit or miss) But people who havent heard of him here is a brief description
He attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts. He self releases with no current record label. mc chris originally performed with The Lee Majors (aka Dirt Bike Annie). Sometimes associated with the genre of nerdcore hip-hop, his trademarks include the synthesis of his "geek" heritage with the "gangster" image associated with hip hop artists, and the high pitch of his stage voice. He has released five albums, three EPs, one re-release, and a tenth anniversary edition of his recordings with The Lee Majors.
Anyways he is funny as hell on stage and his lyrics often hit me with a comfortable dosage of nostalgia and nerdiness. How does teamlquid.net feel about his music?
For non-US ppl, that's a late-night programming block on a cable cartoon station
promoted him in it's earlier days. He did the voice of Hesh on Sealab 2021. That's around the only time I ever heard of him, I didn't know he still made music. I downloaded one of his albums off Morpheus or whatever us teenage pirates were using at the time. I only remember Fett's Vette and The Tussin, though. I sing that song to myself anytime I see a bottle of Robitussin.
never heard of him, but tbh, his voice really rubs me the wrong way.... dunno how to explain it but i tried listening to it and getting used to it (4 songs), and i still just can't stand it. i guess its not my cup of tea
I loved Fett's Vette being a huge Star Wars fan, but I first noticed him in an old episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force where he sings a song called "I like Candy" it was hilarious and I liked him ever since.

That's funny you mention that because one of the only ATHF episodes I watched was that one, and I thought he sounded like MC Chris, which I also only heard one song of, and didn't think it was supposed to be a parody of him (maybe it wasn't), or even that is was his voice.
A friend of mine is from New Orleans and MC Chris came to town and his friend, she's got this like high society Southern Accent and she says real classy like "Mc Chris, I'll say I do have all of your Cassette Tapes."
