Well, maybe the Raiders. But they don't have an enormous payroll spent on worthless players. I think the closest you can get is maybe the New York Mets. Enormous budget, but no results. But they're not terrible like the Knicks are. But when you talk about terrible franchises like the Lions or Raiders, they're really not that bad considering they really don't give a shit. Fans already have given up on them. And we have everyone's favorite, the Chicago Cubs. Fans'll never give up hope, but they'll never win.

I think it would be the raiders, although they don't meet the "biggest city" criteria, they sure know how to blow a bunch of money on shitty first round picks, and their owner is psychotic.

The Clippers and Knicks had the exact same record last year, but the Knicks were clearly and openly playing for next year all season long. But for recent history it still has to be the Mets or Cubs.

This means; - Most Money - Biggest City - Worst Management - Overpaid - Underperform Any ideas? Washington Redskins. Dan Snyder is so freaking rich that he can just throw around contracts like what he gave to Albert Haynesworth. I'd say Washington DC is a pretty big city. Not the biggest, but it's big and famous. OH DEAR GOD DAN SNYDER one of the worst owners ever, possibly. Then, for the past few seasons, you have a head coach, coordinators, GM, and most of the front office that just isn't that good. They brought in some new people for this season, so I'll wait and see before I judge, but seriously, the past two years have been awful. I'm a Broncos fan, though, so I will always have faith in Mike Shanahan. Overpaid: kind of goes with the first point, but just look at Haynesworth's situation. You also got various other players that don't deserve what they're earning (DeAngelo Hall, for example) Underperform: Haynesworth sucked and got injured. Campbell sucked and got traded. Hall is a mediocre DB, nowhere near what he was back in Atlanta. LaRon Landry can kind of hit hard, I guess, but he doesn't play smart and he can't tackle solidly. Clinton Portis hasn't been good for several years now. And the team as a whole is the paragon of mediocrity. Prior to last year, their record was 32-32 for the previous four season. And last season, they went 4-12. Too much money, nothing to show for it.
