Just follow preppy's site. He is almost always on the inside track through one medium or another.

Yes, it means it will NOT run on TvC's code at all. It uses a completely different engine, the one which powers Resident Evil 5, Lost Planet and I think Dead Rising (and is NOT powering Street Fighter IV).
Seems like a strange decision, but Capcom said it was the engine the team was most comfortable with.

Wow wtf, I keep getting BSOD from mvc3 videos from gamtrailers.com and youtube
2 times in a row now >.<

The short scene of Dante vs Deadpool was sick... and they complement each other well. So many fighting games come out: Tekken 7, MvC 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Blaz Blue Continum Shift, and a new Virtua Fighter 5 I think?

Sad news for MvC2 fans. They will be using the 3 button style from TvC. Its rather saddening that there going to dumb down a game that survived for so long because of the extreme skill it took to play it and the tourney scene.

Yeah it really does remind me of another game... Just really can't put my finger on it though...
But my friend and I decided that were going to become decent a MvC2 this summer. Were pretty much going to have 6+ hour long MvC2 sessions 5 days a week.

No, they aren't. They've just renamed the 4th button, but it will function in much the same way.
"Sorry guys, I've tried to be nice with my clarifications, but you're simply off-base. The MVC3 control scheme is overwhelmingly similar to MVC2. Imagine there was a contest between TvC and MVC2 control schemes, with some people arguing for each side. With the way the controls are at the moment, the "We want controls like MVC2" team has unquestionably won." -Killian
Seth Killian goes into further detail about the controls
Too much misinformation, especially when people try to use it as a way to get their daily jabs in about SC2 (not you, specifically)

This game looks absolutely awesome. Really looking forward to its release!

I like the approach to the graphics. They remind me of Street Fighter IV and an action comic book. This may be another E-Sport in the making.

If the threshold wasn't insanely high, sure. MvC2 was too brutal for its own good.
And Dante looks like a Strider clone, disappoint.
