It is pretty famous but since it is not a Hollywood movie I feel that it should be added here.

The Lives of Others First off, it's in German. I don't know how "unknown" it is as I'm only just now looking into foreign films, but this was ridiculously good. Plot Summary : East Germany. Mid 1980s. A Stasi Agent in the German government is assigned to monitor the actions of certain high profile celebrities that may pose a potential threat to tarnishing the image of the German government. It's particularly interesting because it shows a certain kind of person - a true believer - getting their beliefs shattered after witnessing corruption in the system that he so stoutly supports. It might feel that it's a bit slow moving, but if you pay enough attention you'll see that there is a lot going on.

As for one movie I thought might have been meh, I actually ended liking Pandorum a lot, especially the ending, it was like holy hell. Also, did anyone else find Moon pretty enjoyable? I did. By the way people... Films that are good but not many people have even heard of? Pretty sure movies like V for Vendetta don't qualify.

Seriously, if anybody hasn't seen this one yet, do give it a watch. I think no matter what kind of film you like, you'll enjoy this one, it's brilliant.

No idea how much press this got in the states but I'd never heard about it in the UK and thought it was a great flick.

If you find it funny to make others people from the teamliquid community to waste 102minutes of their lifes, I just have to tell you - We have other things to do. This movie is so terrible, no humour, no intensitivity, no suprices it would be like watching Backho versus Idra finding yourself cheering at Idea (yugh) because of the intence lack of suspence. The only movie in mind there might be just as mad is another Nicolas Cage movie "The wicker man" and everyones information that is just so bad, if your high school teacher ever had a laughed in her life it was because of movie, just made to make women think they actual can handle a life on their own - So unreal.

It happened to be on TV while I was flicking through. I like Christian Bale as an actor (I've only really seen The Prestige with him). Which brings me to - The Prestige : Didn't realize there were so many famous people in it. Really cool film with a cool twist.

Then you need to go watch american psycho, like right now. Christian Bale in that movie is just pure genius.

Have to go. I read this and was like wtf are you french haha. Banlieue 13 is a sick action movie and very fun to watch. La cite des enfants perdus is also a very fun movie. Another great french movie that i thought i was going to hate was A la folie pas du tout.
