I know that not many will care but I will take a break from TL for at least a week. All these "Blizzard suck/big bad corporation/can't make money" threads are getting out of hand. I want to discuss in them all but get too frustrated doing so because I cannot get my points out to all and my english is not good enough.
People are quite ridiculous about it. My own oppinion is that Blizzard is a great game developer and with SC2 they still are in my book. I love BW, have played ICCUP till B rank watches most prolague games and hate to see it go down. But I respect Blizzard more and think this forum is going nuts about it atm, so I'm off.
See you later Liquidians. Also admins, plz temp ban me for a week. Thx.
Well, I really share the concern a lot of people have regarding SC2 and battle.net 2.0. I've played MW2 and we [=pc-gamers] basically got a shitty environment totally controled by activision. No custom maps, paying for new maps, hackers everywhere and a gamesystem that a monkey could even infinitely improve.
The same trend is visible in SC2. Key factors are not there, Activision is trying to control every aspect of the game -- and even outside the game -- 3 titles 50 a pop.. I'm scared for this game and where it's heading. Activision is really a horrible company, way worse than EA...
I'm actually currently ignoring EVERYTHING on TL except the sc2 section. Power what? Brood huh? That "loss" HE suffered just a few days ago is way way way way too much for me to handle. So I'm gonna ignore any news posts and all that stuff for about a week or two. It's so sad that the beta ends on the 7th.
I mean, sure, the SC2 forum is filled with a lot of ignorant posts and new members but all of the blizzard discussion going on now is really.. necessary.
Not necessary as in we should complain but all this lashing out at Blizzard is because the community is hurt and scared. We supported Broodwar, Blizzard, and progaming for so long, dedicated so much of our lives to it, and we just don't want to see it go away.
I'm sure in our hearts, it's not that we hate anything, it's more just we don't know what to do or even what we can do. So of course, our first reaction is to vent frustration, and cover up our fear with anger.
OP, maybe you are just wrong about things. There are better ways to arrange things that blizzard doesn't understand. Your propably just block it all out of yyour head since only thing you care is playing sc2.
Pretty funny response to being unhappy with the way people are venting their frustrations. You could have just not bothered reading the few threads your not happy with.
Well , I don't agree with OP since I dont like the turns Blizz has been taking , not even with SC2 and as a player who played BW I dont really see how you can still enjoy playing a game with mechanichs so inferior to BW . But hey , maybe it's just me who like extensive unit micro and macro :p

Seriously, you should have just asked for a perm ban.
Ppl like you are the annoying one just trashing arround with no mind, his opinion is his opinion with decent reason, you should be the permbanned one...
Well, I think it helps to look at it the problem in a simple way:
(1) Blizzard is directly/indirectly speeding up the end of professional BW (at least in Korea) (2) Some people are upset because pro BW is a signficant source of their entertainment (3) They are aware that while some progamers have a better opportunity in starting afresh, others face either going back to worse conditions (at least during beginning of SC2 proscene) or retiring from progaming.

Actually, the "Blizzard sucks/big bad corporation" threads will continue appearing for a long while, so SoManyDeadLings is not entirely wrong, if you look at the problem from that view. He doesn't ask mods to hand out a ban, but gives the original poster a suggestion. Of course, his intention is debatable.
