Are you speaking from the perspective of the Korean scene? Savior did "create" the word, "bonjwa". People used to chat his name after his victories.

Only need to point out one thing: they let Boxer and Savior to relay the 2008 olympic torch, not Nada or Oov. Btw, Savior refuted to take part, quoting China's poor human rights. At that time I thought he was a good guy, or maybe he really was...

With this spectacle he intended to draw attention to the poor conditions of the progamers - he wouldnt have gotten attention like this with conventional means Ma Jae Yoon 4ever!!

죄 송합니다 I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I apologize sincerely to everyone involved with and working in e-sports, and especially to my team mates and all my fans who've been watching me and believing in me. I know I don't even have the right to apologize... I'm uploading this apology with the thought that keeping silent on the matter would be even worse. At my age, I can't claim it was a moment's mistake and hope for forgiveness... I know that. It's my fault for not being able to resist the temptation of the moment. I'm regretting it from the bottom of my heart. I know that for the last 7 years, hundreds of people have been loving me and cheering for me... Thanks to them, I made it (as a progamer) until now.... why did I do this... I was so immature. I know that it's unforgiveable, that I can't expect to earn your forgiveness through a few letters, that it doesn't make my sin any better... But still. I will tell you how deeply sorry I am. There are no words through which I could ever apologize enough to the people who've been supporting and loving me all this time. But... Really. I'm really... sorry.

Btw, Savior refuted to take part, quoting China's poor human rights. At that time I thought he was a good guy, or maybe he really was... Do tell me you are kidding. NaDa is THE most consistent player of all time, the first winner of the golden mouse, has been on countless TV-shows and have won a variety of tournaments for the last 9 years, one coinciding with the death of his dad. iloveoov could in his prime be compared to the Flash of today. That guy basically invented macro. In 2008 Saviors achievements were still fresh in memory and people thought he could make a comeback. That does not mean he's been as influental as two of the most important and inspiring progamers in the history of professional Starcraft, nor that he has had more fans or anything like it. NaDa is probably the most famous and well liked progamer after Boxer, and that says a lot. oov on the other hand is the apprentice that beat his master, which just so happens to be Boxer as well. Savior will only be remembered as the cheating bastard that had a good run of a little more than two years a few years back.

This isn't like an illegal drug abuse scandal. saviors accomplishments still happened, he was still incredibly dominant. Not that I'm trying to make excuses, of course his name will be forever tainted and in infamy, but it's not as if savior wasn't skilled. He was just a terrible sportsman with no integrity.
