Race Change

I'm about 80% sure I want to race change to Terran at least for now. I know a lot of you are big fans of me as a Zerg player but I think something is just not clicking with me and the Zerg mechanics, and I find it much easier for me to macro as a Terran player rather than a Zerg player.

But here's the rub, I need to retrain to get the feel and builds of an entirely new race and the 1v1 ladder I spent entirely as Zerg so I get a feeling I will just get smashed until I get bumped down to a spot I belong. I wish there was another way to hammer out some practice.

So do I go find some silver level or so players from the practice thread? Do I go get my butt pounded in the ladder until I find where I belong? Or do I do something else? Input is definitely appreciated.

just play ladder, i lost 10 games in a row learning toss when i was ranked 1600++ plat destroyed my ranking and W:L

eh its beta just ladder it up imo

I'd say find someone who is ranked similar to you who also wants to learn an offrace. That way, your opponent will have similar mechanics and game sense as you, but will also have the same handicap of not being familiar with their race.
