Since when did I say anything about casual dating? Just because a little high school thing didn't work out for you doesn't automatically turn you into a wannabe player or something, or prevent you from persuing something more meaninful, why would you think that?? If anything, it just gave you additional experience and helps you grow as a person, and helps you better understand what you're looking for. Having a relationship fail doesn't turn you into a manwhore.

But I've been in these crazy mood swings, heading down for the most part lately, because after getting along really well, she told me we have to be friends (this is a long story). So after talking to her on the phone for about an hour or two a night for two months, she told me that... ETT's points are pretty good. Alsoif you were just talking to her on the phone for a few months, thats probably a part of why you became just a friend. You acted more towards her like a good friend would, than someone who wants a relationship. Once a girl starts liking you as a friend she won't go out with you, even if she feels some attraction, because doing so has a good chance of ruining the friendship and the good things that come with it.

At the end of your life, you won't look back and wish you spent more time being miserable, but fuck it, it feels good to be filled with hatred and depression sometimes.

I'm not even sure if she wants to be friends, it's sort of difficult to act as if nothing has happened over the past couple of months. I might be crazy but it's like she doesn't feel like talking to me anymore. I remember her telling me things like, "Will you keep in contact when we go to college?", and "It's weird when you don't call me". The former is easy, I can do that every once in a while, but I don't know what to do now. Should I really just cut off contact with her? I figure that'd be weird because we still see each other at church and stuff... And thanks for that seminar, listening to it now
