EPTSo, a few times I've posted about my love for music. Soundtracks, folk, metal, and some exceptionally rare stuff. So every now and then I will share with you and introduce you to new artists or games or whatnot with exceptionally good music (in my opinion, of course).
Music is a pretty subjective material. People will, of course, either like or dislike what I post. So, if you don't like it, that's cool bro. But if you do like it, let me know, and I'll consider posting more in the future.
Throughout my sc2 video posting I had a lot of people ask about the music I use... so here is a way of tasting my 500+ gig library. I have been collecting music over the course of my eleven years of computing. Some is old, some is new, some is very unique.
For ease of use I will organize by genre.
I also don't plan to actually post albums or anything like that... I trust that you gentlemen are resourceful on your own.
What you will find in this blog?
Epic kind of stuff. Everyone knows Requiem for a Dream and everyone's heard One Winged Angel. But there's far less mainstream and far more superior stuff out there that few people know about because no one spams them in their videos... except for me.
Metal kind of stuff. I'm not a huge fan of growly death metal but I consider my tastes far and wide. I'm more of a gothic/melodic/power metal fan, but I'll try to post a little bit of everything.
Eastern folk. This is a bit more of a niche subject, but it's a type of music I have grown incredibly fond of over the years. My novel is envisioned to have music stylized similar to this. My eastern folk collection largely centralizes on Balkan and Arabic stuff and can extend from classic folk to neo-classic to a blend of folk and metal. Really, it's whatever I find related to the subject that sounds good to my ears. Searching for this stuff is long and very difficult, but usually very rewarding. Because of the huge variety of stuff this spiderwebs off into in my searches I'll simply call this section "Misc".
To keep this blog fairly short and to the point I will only post a few artists and such in each category at a time to see if people like the concept or not.
Feel free to request more of a specific genre or similar to something... or watevs.
What I won't tolerate is trolls. Bad trolls.
