Not too familiar with the blog so if this isn't blogworthy/wrong section, just let me know.

Anyway just played a 3 man Blood Bath game. Game starts and things seem to be going normal, then suddenly I'm attacked by both players at once, and when I go to push blue it happens again. I definitely thought they were teaming in game, and was fairly excited I managed to win a 1v2 on BB of all maps, but watching the replay I'm not sure what was up.
I can't really tell what they were doing, it was like they were allied, especially from the comments, yet they never shared vision or got their units to not attack each other, but their comments suggested to me that there was some level of cooperation between them. What do you guys make of it, them doing some teaming, or really coincidental attacks?

Sounds interesting, i'll look at the rep once i get home. Gotta rush off to school T_T

No it was FFA, first attack brown had attacked you becouse you had moved your marines, and blue had seen that you have no defense. Then Blue didn't killed you when you got 3 marines for no reason. Later on you had taken middle. they had also attacked each other.

Actually Tv2bad zergs on BB that go pool first but don't attack fast, are in general not coordinated, and go hydra ling is rather easy thing to win. On bigger map it would be much harder if you were in the middle.

You're right, uncoordinated would make a huge difference, I was thinking along the lines of what a rushing map blood bath can be, obviously you don't even get a chance to try to gain an advantage or build up a macro lead to handle the early attack. Also, it was the fact that I'm like a low D+ protoss at best, and that maybe, maybe could keep from going D- with T/Z.
They did attack each other once, but they're attacks seemed somewhat timed, especially in game. That and that they referred to each other as "us/we" and apparently knew names and whatnot, so it fel very strongly in game like they were working together, but its a little more ambiguos from the rep.

If it is an FFA and you won, we can assume you were the strongest player, especially keeping in mind that they teamed up against you the entire game. In an FFA, if you want to win you will always want to attack the strongest player that is not yourself (or keep yourself out of the action until the other players kill each other). So it makes perfect sense that they will both focus their efforts on you if you appear to be strong. I see no problem with players cooperating in FFA as long as they understand that there can only be one winner and you don't get points for 2nd place.

they knew each others names and were playing ffa with some random kid on bnet. figure it out.

I watched the whole game and it was a newb fest, should have ended earlier.
And they didn't team, atleast not in my eyes. Just coincidence that they attacked at the same time but they did know eachothers for sure.

First of all it's not hard to win FFAs where 2 sub 50 apm noobs are teaming, hell I've won 3v1s on BB. I've even started games with the intent of letting 2 low apm people ally against me, just to see how long I can hold out (but actually end up winning).
So who the hell cares if they were in an unofficial alliance? I do this crap all the time in FFA, especially on maps like BB where there is 1 open base and 1 guy will get it. We both attack him in order to even out the field.
EDIT- Just watched the game, Everyone sucks so bad. No one knows how to play BW or BB or FFA. op gets tanks after like 15 minutes, finally gets vessels and 1-1 upgrades at like 38 minutes..
PS- You got the bad spot of OGBB, use a better version. (mine or flag's) http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Blood_bath

Good job L_Master. CharlieMurphy is simply jealous of you 1v2 skills.

Yeah, T isn't my main to begin with, and my offraces are complete garbage. Tanks were really late because I have no clue when to get them playing 1 base, i always feel like I'll get run over if I take the time to tech, especially in game where I felt like I was getting 2v1, same thing with the upgrades; I just don't have any feel for how to play BB/1 base type maps. Was going to get tanks way earlier, but I had my economy pretty badly hurt by that initial attack, and felt like I needed to get some more fighting units before I spent money on factory tech in case they attacked again quickly.
Also, what do you mean by bad spot? Is it just a position imbalance thing where gas/minerals aren't as efficient?

Aw my eyes lit up when I stop this topic..
