If you check "Clicking the ">" link will show the last 20 posts for that thread" it behaves like what you described. And I have some stuff coded for "goto last read" etc, but currently is still has some bugs, and I'm low on time. Ah, I forgot about that user setting. Now that you bring it up I recall that being mentioned before. Nice to hear that work on the "goto last read" thing is going on, it will be a great addition. Any chances a "subscribed" thread feature will be coming? Some forums kind of mush those both together but I like when they are actually separate.

So if there is a 2 page thread but the 2nd page only has a couple posts on it, the last page button will show you a whole bunch of posts from the first page still. It would be really awesome if TL implemented a "go to last read" button that most forums have nowadays. On other forums when logged in the forum keeps track of which is the last post you looked at in a thread and gives you a nice little button that only shows up if there are new posts in that thread and it will take you to the start of those new posts. The Something Awful forums do it, they even include a number that gets put beside the button so you know exactly how many posts there have been since you last looked at the thread. man that would be really awesome indeed

say im looking for a map image/description in a thread about pro maps or something. the last page arrow I always found to be kinda stupid. I mean it's right next to a usually larger text link of the last page. What's easier to click here: 120 or > PS- wait a minute the > icon isn't showing up for any thread anymore, all I have is the next button
