Progaming never falls. Its just certain organizations governing games will.

uh oh
EVE online, sponsor the MSL please!
|
So, just to be clear, they drive the GOM tournament out of business, the first tournament with any potential to expand the market and attract Blizzard itself as a sponsor, and then one of the established tournaments falls flat on its face anyway!? Is KESPA suicidal or grotesquely stupid?
|
wtf is wrong with kespa seriously, they are screwing up the entire foreign gaming scene. someone who knows how marketing works should reform everything, so that sponsoring works out and progaming expands.
|
Don't rush to blame Kespa for this. So far it's just a rumor and nobody really knows what went down. Maybe they had a sponsor that pulled out at the last second.
|
I'm not blaming KESPA in the sense that they caused the MSL to fail, I am pointing out that not only did they make the bizarre business choice of not trying to expand the market in which they sold their own products, they closed down a major tournament, GOM, when one of the established tournaments they were favoring was apparently not very healthy.

Everyone should STFU until we have some conclusive information.
This is all speculation, nobody really knows what happened.

NERDRAGE FTW! But seriously, stop thinking too much. We don't know what really happened yet.

Indeed. We don't know why the group selection was delayed, only that it was. It would not be prudent to blame Kespa for everything.
No, for all we know this could well be the work of a certain other agent who has publically enunciated his intention to abrogate the professional StarCraft scene by extirpating its practitioners within the end of the year...
...What? Don't tell me I was the only one who thought of that?

You know gom was canceled because 3 leagues and 1 team league was just too much? Kespa didn't kill it.

ok, back to the MSL/MST
i would kill for this matchup in the finals:
Calm (defending champ) vs Jaedong (guy who got rolled by defending champ last time)
|
The last thing we need is another ZvZ finals....enough is enough already.
Very interested to see what sponsor they have this season.

Red Bull MSL? Oo i hope the sponsor shows up soon!
