Hey TL,
Recently Flash mentioned in an interview: "I will prepare thinking I already have a lead, but since Firebathero is really strong in TvT I will not let my guard down and win my 12th TvT in a row." Source: + Show Spoiler +
Now when I check Flash's TvT record, + Show Spoiler + Flash's best latest streak in the '2008-2009 Shinhan Bank Proleague' would be 8 wins. Now with 2009-2010 Shinhan started, vs Really he managed to get a 9th win in a row. So wouldn't that make a win vs FBH a 10th?
Only if I count the Avalon MSL as well he'd be on a 12 win streak. But then what about the STX Master 2009, 09 Ultimate PL (and GOM Classic Season 3) I know this last one isn't counted. But still...
In an earlier interview after an oustanding TvT vs Really,+ Show Spoiler +[link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFr1Vio-NK4[/link] Flash said he wants to set a TvT record no one else could break (15-20 wins) + Show Spoiler + - You set a new record of 11 TvT win streak ▲ I would have been more confident if I had been playing, but since I haven't played for a while, I was worried. I'm happy I was able to set a new record, and I want to set a record that nobody can break in the future. If I achieve 15-20 streak, I don't think anyone else will be able to break it. TvT is hard to predict, but I think I can do it.
Flash also said + Show Spoiler +(I can't find the interview, sorry) he wants to bring his TvZ record up in the 70+% again. Now I wonder, if not all leagues are taken in account in his record. What would be his current vZ win/loss rate?
Of course I have no doubt Flash can achieve the goals he set! If I violated any rules, please let me know.

12 Televised Non-Event Win Streak
They didn't count any Event games + Gom Season 3
So basically, exclude the Gom/STX Master/Ultimate PL 09 games
|
Flash is only counting Kespa sanctioned games in his winstreak, ie special events + GOM dont count.
TLPD counts GOM games which is the only difference between the kespa sanctioned record, the GOM games inflate Flash's TvZ record as he won a lot more than he lost, so its going to be even more difficult to break the 70% point.

Thanks guys. So is there any way to show records of just 'Televised Non-Event' matches?

Someone correct me: Flash tied iloveOov's 27 game win streak in 2008, correct?
And Best tied the single-match up win streak at like 17 or something, right? PvP? There were a bunch of streaks broken in 2007-2008 and I can't keep track of them.

No, Flash went like 24-3 at one point or something? But to win 27 games in a row is just completely unthinkable nowadays. It's pretty much the "Cy Young's 511 wins" of SC.
Also oov's streak was TvZ.

Also I think the overall win streak record is 16. 27-0 in anything would be pretty ridiculous nowadays I agree, although Flash was also rolling over people like crazy during that time.

Oov had 13 game winstreak all mus which is tied only by JD Gorush has the highest winstreak which is 16 wins
Oovs TvZ opened with a 27-0 winstreak which is the best single mu winstreak Flashs best winstreak is 12 wins.

I'm fairly certain EffOrt also tied at 16 straight wins, but don't quote me. T_T

This is true, flash, oov, anytime were the only ones to achieve this
However, this was only the case for the old Proleague Format when 2v2s still existed
and it wasn't consecutive wins iirc, it was how many wins in a single round or something can't remember

i believe flash said that he wanted his tvP to get back over 70%, not his tvz.
but he also said he was improving his tvz a lot

Ah lol the loss was a gom game ~~
