I've used the search function because i was pretty sure this had been covered before, but i didn't find the answers to my problem
I guess you all saw progamers microing vultures vs hordes of ling and not getting even a single hit, I do already know that you can do that by running away, then, if the lings that are chasing you are in range, you click patrol towards them and then click away again.
The problem I have is that by doing in this way I don't manage to repeat it twice consecutively, I manage to do the first hit perfectly without slowing down my vulture, but then, instead of a second hit the vulture turns around towards the lings, I first thought it was just a problem of me not executing it perfectly but I tried it in a vulture micro map and still the problem is the same, so I must be missing something.
Is there a notion I need to know about? maybe i must make my vulture change direction after every succesful hit? Maybe there's some particular angle i must respect between the direction of my vulture and the direction i click patrol? If anybody knows tell me plz, because i think it's important not to miss any hit when you're microing the vulture, or it would take an eternity to kill even 4 lings for example

From Liquipedia:
-Right clicking past the unit that is being attacked (1),
-Pressing Patrol within the Vulture's range of the unit at the angle shown(2). Why this spot? By clicking patrol here, vultures will shoot while slightly turning 15 degrees or so, sometimes they don't even seem to turn. If you patrol behind your vultures they will sometimes turn around, and you don't want that happening. If you click less than that spot (closer to points 1 or 3) vultures will sometimes not shoot.
-Retreating (3).
After reading this from Liqupedia, I have never failed microing the Vulture, and it seem you are doing it right too, I guess, but how come our result is different?

Above post says it all. All that you need is practice and you will see what your doing wrong. Picture in previous post is everything you need to know how to do it...now just practice.

probably it's the angle i didn't pay attention to, i need to try it out though, thanks for help

angle isnt a big issue at all. ive never read anything about angle before and i never fail doing it

oh well Liquipedia says that if you click exactly where the lings are you risk to make your vultures turn around, and that's exactly what seems to happen to me, even if I don't understand why my first hit is always perfect and the second NEVER is.
Damn I lost my vulture micro map T_T

Yep, been covered a lot in various sources. I think it's you and not the technique. There isn't anything more to say so I'm locking this.
Further, please read the strategy forum guidelines and tag your post appropriately next time.
