It's probably related to my thread about infinite range sunks. Was any Protoss building in range of the the tank?

Didn't watch the rep, but seems like he didn't even have vision of that dragoon. Really weird.

probably not all played games. if opponent leaves because of lag at 0:05 then there's a file saved in the autorep folder. same for observing w/ launcher active, ums, etc.
i'm constantly shocked how fast my autoreplay folder grows. it wasn't uncommon to have like 200 files pile up in less than a week

Yea I was about to say the same. I get close to 2k in a year with different servers....then again I rarely play so yea.
As for the superranged tanks I have had happen a couple of times. Each time happening against me TT.

Nice thread. Totally missed it. But as rage says, i'm not even sure he had vision of my goon at that point in time. I know a vulture was up there but left pretty quickly (didn't manage to fire at it). I should think he had no vision after that.

The pylon thing is rare, it's happened to me 2-3 times ever since like 5 years ago. The Tank thing is probably infinite range thing mentioned above.
perhaps send reps to blizzard?

I just took a look at the rep.
The mechanism behind the infinite range might indeed be due to [http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=96786], but the circumstances are extremely strange.
1) Tank has no sight range of attacked goon. 2) Tank is not attacked by anything. 3) Tank fires not one, but TWO shots at goon from unbelievably far range.
However,
4) The tank is in range of some Protoss buildings. 5) The vulture comes in from the back and takes a glimpse of a few goons. Those goons go out of sight range, but one of those goons is the one that is hit by the tank. 6) Perhaps there is a way to exploit the auto-targeting mechanism of a unit without involving that unit getting fired at. 7) One has to explain how the tank changed its target to the goon when the vulture wasn't attacked. 8) The fact that the goon wasn't visible isn't that relevant for the FIRST tank shot. It's like hitting units on top of a cliff right after they go out of your vision. 9) The SECOND tank shot was completely out of the blue. Goon was out of sight for a while and nothing was attacking the tank.
This seems like an extreme bug that is hard to produce.
I can't say that the infinite range sunk applies to this 100%.

I've never experienced unpowered pylon.
tho one could argue it's because I never play protoss.
Also, the tank bug, it may have something to do with Korean mapmaking. They rape these poor maps day in day out to make them look what they want them to look like. then the poor maps push their feelings inside and then .. every once in a while.. they GO ABSOLUTELY APESHIT AND MAKE TANKS SHOOT FUCKIN KAKARUS IN THE AIR.
