Fiction is a perversion of the truth we hide from ourselves. It is no small wonder how people can open parts of themselves up to stories, myths, and legends. What they see in past is secure, and it is through the past they see the future. Who among us takes a moment to truly look into the present, to see rippling facets of reality?
Some still persist in what will be. What should be. Long-term thinking has a place in current actions, but it is another filter through which people can miss things in the present. To surrender something to the past is to never fully understand it.
Truly, it is good and pleasant to be in the present.

Have any of you read anything like this before that you can direct me to? This is unbelievably interesting to me and I don't know why.
