I get lots of nosebleeds every year during spring. It's not some weak nosebleeds either, if I don't stop it, the blood will rush out like a river. Also, it's always the left side of my nose that bleeds, never my right side.
BUT, how the hell are nosebleeds a sign of weakness?

rofl that woman is so scary!!!! :O

I get nosebleeds once a month or so. The problem is that when I get them they keep happening. I get 12+ nosebleeds in a week once a month every month. It's REALLY annoying. I've never had it hinder me though. It only happens when it isn't really that inconvenient but if I get one without tissues or while in a public place it can really be terrible.

Epistaxis
after reading the article, i just realized that weather and seasons can also be the cause of nose bleeding.
but still, LeperKahn case is quite extreme, are sure you are ok?

I currently have the infamous combo of nosebleed and a cold. I'm hesitant to properly blow my nose because I might start bleeding again.

Haha, am I the only person that thinks LeperKahn's trolling?

I generally get nose bleeds when its really dry and there are santa ana winds down here (hot/dry winds). It's mostly like allergies and then dry nose causes my boogers to be sharp and i'll just rub my nose or whatever and it'll cut me. It's not like dripping blood, its just like dry brittle cracked skin and there are dabs of blood, the thing is when the blood clots it is also sharp and often i re open the cut over and over.

getting serious nosebleeds over and over again could be a result of a weakened blood vessel in your nose or close to it, i know my bro had to get his fixed sometime, they "fused" it back together O_O or something haha

Not really, sounds reasonable to me. I used to get them all the time, and when I did, they usually happened multiple times in a short time frame.
Actually it's weird I saw this thread, I've just recently started having them again. They wake me up out of my sleep. It's kind of creepy to wake up slightly choking on blood dripping from your nose down the back of your throat.

Woke up, got dressed, bam nosebleed :'(. Also get them regulary about 6-10 times a year, also suprisingly mainly from one of the noseholes.
But yeah weak blood vessel like been mentioned, never heard of them "fusing" it together thou. Guess it isnt that annoying with this frequency.

I can completely relate to LeperKahn,
I used to have horrible nosebleeds as a kid. It was extremely bad in highschool, there were weeks when i missed like half my classes because of nosebleeds. The nosebleeds seem to come in waves, sometimes i won't have nosebleeds for a couple of months, and sometimes like LeperKahn, it would happen like many times a day. It's especially bad for me in the winter. My nose is huge now because of the insane amount of tissues i stuck up it when i was a kid. The teachers stopped taking my attendence because they knew i was probably having a nosebleed. At the end of the semester when my english teacher handed back the student's essays, half of mine had blood splatters on them. I'd have to change pillows every day during those times, cuz they'd always be stained with blood when i woke up.
I felt that it was a weakness as well, especially when we went onto a school wilderness trip, and I held up my group cuz of my nosebleeds. But then it was a marked trip and my nosebleeds got us a perfect mark thanks to the lenient teachers. It was pretty useful sometimes; the ability to trigger a massive nosebleed one cue, but mostly it was reallly bothersome.
I saw alot of doctors and specialists, they prescribed all sorts of medication. Some were creams that keeps the nasal cavity moist so the inner membranes don't crack and rupture, others were like vitamin K that supposedly helps blood clot. There were all sorts of methods that i've tried to stop nosebleeds. The supposedly correct methods didn't do shit for me, it's the one where you're supposed to lean forward over a trashcan, and apply pressure abit below the bridge of your nose. The blood would come out in a stream or atleast a very fast drip, even after like a couple of minutes. I have so many experiences about nosebleeds i could go on and on, but the there are some solutions.
If you're having serious problems stopping your nosebleeds, use a powder coagulant on the tissue which you use to stuff up your nose. It requires you to carry powdered coagulant with you at all times, and it's a bit extreme but it's the only method that worked 100% for me. I didn't have to use it all the time though, only for extreme cases.
Some of the specialists also recommend a a very light nose operation, where you cauterize the blood vessels on the inside of your nose. When i turned 18, i got that operation and I haven't had a nosebleed since, even when i got hit in the face with a soccerball.

better than a constant stuffy nose. I would kill and drink the blood of a baby unicorn if I could breathe and smell 100% through my nose.

Oh my god this. Constantly one of my nostrils is blocked, and it changes regularly. It can change in less than a second, and you can feel it when it does. I always wake up with a dry mouth because I can't breathe through my nose when I'm sleeping because I can't get enough oxygen in through only nostril. Shit's fucked up.

I thought he was making an obvious joke, but then I read Halliday's experiences and now I don't think so.
