K-ON! Episode 9

Continuing with last episode the Light Music Club finally got a new member, Azusa. After a bunch of greetings everyone learnt that Azusa played the guitar.




As it turns out, she played really good, and everyone was very surprised and amused.







That was, except Yui. She had only been playing the guitar for a year and was far inferior to Azusa, who started since she was about 9. When Azusa asked Yui to play Yui avoided smartly.




Azusa soon became an official member. To her displeasure, however, on the next day she arrived at the club room she saw everyone was drinking tea and relaxing, instead of practicing.




Azusa thought she was merely being tested of her motivations, so she grabbed her guitar and started playing... only to get yelled at Sawachan-sensei:




This made Azusa very angry; she yelled at all the other members of how they were not using the music room for music and demanded the tea-set to be removed. Sawachan-sensei begged Azusa for forgiveness but to no prevail. At the end (surprisingly) Yui managed to calm Azusa down.










After a lot of yelling everyone decided to actually play a little bit of music. A little, here, was about 1.25 seconds for Yui before she collapsed (but was later rejuvenated by Mugi's cake).




Yui then offered some cake to Azusa, and Azusa got very addicted.









Sawachan-sensei arrived soon after, bringing a "present" for Azusa as a part of a ceremony for Azusa to become part of the drug, er, cosplay, er, light music club.













It was clear, at the point, that hard-working Azusa held different values than the club which was on a slump only knew how to slack off. Making things worse, due to Azusa's cuteness, she was treated as a toy for the entertainment of the club.
