I have a few questions: 1. How well does the anime follow the manga (Is there any deviation at all)? 2. Currently OnePiece Anime is @ episode 394. What chapter is this in the manga? | ||

Naturally there is some filler in there, but that's to be expected. 2. I haven't watched the more recent episodes of the anime, describe what's going on at that time. Edit* - Nevermind, took a quick look around. I'd say it's roughly chapters 499-500 of the manga. | ||

I've given manga an honest try, and I feel them to be almost uniformly inferior to the best English language graphic novels. The rare exception has been Akira, which I felt was quite brilliant. | ||

Youtube actually featured this, apparently bandai entertainment uploaded the whole first season of Code Geass in order to draw in more viewers or something. Here you go, if you have never seen this anime i higghhlyy recommend it. The storyline is sick, very unpredictable! + Show Spoiler + The latest chapter was amazing, truly a great ending to the Impel Down arc. I'm hoping that Oda won't pull a Kishimoto and have Mr. 2 survive. He died a heroic death and that's the way it should remain. | ||
