Boy that arc escalated quickly Yes, to be honest, I was also one of these people who thought the arcs after Wano (Egghead, Elbaf, Lodestar) are going to have a different progression and then things will conclude with a free-for-all around Raftel (Laugh tale). I'm not saying I didn't enjoy how it turned out, though! | ||

I don't think the Sun God is Loki. You can see her wearing high heels so she's probably female. I also don't think she knows who the Straw Hats are since she just picked them up and stuck them in a diorama like a bunch of toys. Not sure if they're really on Elbaf either since Sun God is way taller than the average giant. I honestly have no idea what's going on but this arc is already a lot more fun than Egghead. | ||

The art has been getting better and better. It's nice to see Oda actually putting in effort again. Also there's a 2 week break which is honestly also a welcome sign since that time can be used to develop an interesting story. At first I didn't like Elbaf since it seems like such a waste of time when there are so many other interesting things going on. But now, seeing how much effort Oda is putting in, I have a more positive outlook. Hopefully all those dying and elderly One Piece fans out there can hold on for just a few more years and read the end of One Piece before shuffling off this mortal coil forever. | ||

I wonder if theyre referring to the Gum Gum Fruit, or if theres gonna be another Mythical Human Human fruit based on a Norse god, but Id have to imagine theyre referring to the Gum Gum fruit given the specificity of what kind of god Loki wants to be | ||

The SBS actually reveals quite a bit of other interesting information regarding Aramaki and Fujitora. Amaraki was a police officer that was imprisoned for his crimes and Fujitora was a bodyguard. That's right these two Admiral level characters were absolute nobodies in their past lives and never used their absurd strength for anything. In this dog eat dog universe of piracy, two of the strongest characters in the entire setting never used their powers to enforce their will on the world, and instead signed up to be lapdogs for the World Government at the first opportunity. Makes total sense.... | ||
