You know, I understand why the world government wants Elbaf for the upcoming war, but honestly it's far more effective as an agricultural exporter than a military power. Giants tend to go down fairly quickly in One Piece In fact I can only think of one time when a giant actually won a fight: Hajrudin vs. Machvise. However, all the plants and animals on Elbaf are massive. They can probably produce enough food for the entire grand line. If Mariejois is having food problems then they should be using Elbaf to feed themselves, not as disposable shock troops that barely do anything but look intimidating.
Also, I love the designs of the Gods' Knights. They're mostly human, whereas every other pirate nowadays looks like some cartoon monstrosity. Reminds me of early One Piece which had way better character designs.
Elbaf as a agricultural powerhouse is an interesting thing ngl

Ok so apparently in the new chapter.
1. Roger's left hand apparently knows how to hurt God's Knights
2. Gunko has a previous history with Brook directly. It seems to be showing brook and a kid gunko. That memory was triggered when father word was mentioned. Brook's kid is a celestial dragon ?
3. Imu can hijack God's Knights

I think Gunko was coerced to join the God's Knights like they tried to do with Loki earlier in the arc and isn't originally a celestial dragon. The reason for this is that when she was introduced, she's just Gunko, no family name and more importantly no "Saint" title. She also calls him Brook so I figure she was actually just a kid Brook took care off like 60 years ago when he was still a soldier (who maybe lost her father).

I think it's very clear that Imu is the source of all the demonic shit the God's Knights can do, including teleportation circles, telepathy, immortality, and regeneration. It only makes sense for him to be able to hijack their bodies when he sees fit. Again, the knights and elders likely signed a deal with devil (the devil, devil fruit) and are effectively his pawns. Maybe the memories were also part of the price they had to pay? Or maybe she's just so old that her childhood is a blur. However, I don't think Gunko is secretly a good person. She may have been when she was a kid, but Imu was not controlling her when she was threatening to kill children or treating humans like slaves.

I think Gunko is a mole planted by the Revolutionaries inside the God Knights, due to the steampunk hat + goggles she wears. The question is, does Imu know this and can he see his contractees memories/thoughts, or is it only an 'ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL" type of deal. We don't exactly know what people have to sacrifice to Imu to get these outlandish powers... I assume it has stages? The more you sacrifice to Imu the more power he gives you? The 5 Elders clearly have powers in a league of their own compared to the God Knights.

Also the more endgame OP goes the more it seems Imu is more devil than somebody with devil fruit
