On the topic of drinking and driving. It won't kill you to take a cab, but it'll kill me if you don't On that note, it won't kill you to learn to drive sober... and turn on your damn signal if you're going to make a damn turn. Argh... I hate the general public!

It almost makes me want to, but then again I don't want to have to drink and drive. For whatever crazy reason that I would need to though, I shall remember it backwards before I get going.

Technically you are not allowed to be served alcohol if you are drunk, but you would never think that if you had ever been to a bar before. I only know this because I had to take some exam for my ex-girlfreind so she could get some license for some shit that I dont remember now. Depends on where you live. Here in California, it is illegal to drink in public. Although they just slap you on the wrist and force you to go to an AA meeting ($20 total) if you get caught your first 2 times. As for OP, I was pulled over once for a DUI on a bike (not a motor bike), but the cop let me off with a warning. I think the charges are the same because a bike is subject to the same laws as automobiles are.

I know it's a big place, and it varies from state to state etc. but I'm sure there aren't things like this in the UK, it's a straight asking for a breathalizer sample (I think, I don't know, I'm 16). However, I did learn the alphabet backwards, and I have done it quickly drunk, so yeah, I'm set if I go to america then I guess. There is a field sobriety test that a police officer can have you take, and it was pretty accurate up until the dance moves came in. Walk a straight line, recite the alphabet backwards, touch your nose with your fingers, etc. I think it's more commonplace to use the breathalizer, though.
