System detected hack from Your side, it has bend reported for checking. CAT admin made decision about Your ban.

It seems that you had another program running that was editing Starcraft like ChaosLauncher (or a hack lol) so you got banned. i had that msg happen to me about 4 games in a row when I had nothing on I didn't know that. Regardless, I can't see how he hacked in that game. If he did he would've never lost his command center at all to the hydras.

You have to realize that these guys work really hard for noprofit, so just be patient. If you didnt hack, then post it and it will most likely get fixed, don't make a thread here complaining about it unless they don't reverse the decision. I seriously hate it when people bring up that argument. It doesn't matter what your pay is, the quality of some of the work the admins do on iCCup seem nothing short of atrocious.
Not really... maybe you've had bad experiences because you're rude? In most of my interactions my complaints and such are dealt with fairly quickly and are done correctly.
And that argument is totally valid. The reason the guy at McDonalds messes up your drive-thru order is because for minumim wage he doesn't care. But at the fine dining establishment where you pay $100 per meal they better get it right!

Poor argument and poor analogy. The guy at McDonalds is getting paid still. It may be a job he hates, but he HAS to do it for money.
Being an admin on ICCUP is voluntary. They choose to do it.

I forget at what WCG it was, or who the players were.
But one player had his computer crash, and the admin looked at the screen and saw the minerals and gas and said something like, "Blue has more points, blue wins."

Reason: Come on... It's a final, and you're not going to stick around and update results? That's just slack If you aren't going to do a voluntary job and put in as much effort as if you were getting paid when people rely on you and it affects them then you shouldn't have applied for the position in the first place. I hope they apologize or something and fix it. What? That wasn't for not live reporting. That was creating a thread for the finals and not staying around to update the results - which is a common courtesy for any thread creator for LR. Amplify that by the fact that there were no shortages of people creating the thread (it was a final ffs) and you have yourself one huge annoyance. It wasn't until like game 3 before a mod arrived to update results (steve iirc) and people were coming in an complaining in the thread just because one person wanted 2 seconds of fame in creating a thread? If you're going to make a thread and not update results either the games must be almost about to start with no one around or you make one hell of an op. Neither was true in this case.

Yea seriously, he was doing it for himself, not for the community. To not even stay around to update for the final which many people are going to watch is just a douche move.

He was agreeing with the ban Plexa. :p

Plexa I think he was using the guy you banned as the example of what not to do, not you.
Edit: Because he signed up for a big responsibility (Like an iccup admin volunteering) and then didn't take it seriously.

Apparently I hack too. Dont really know how and why, but in an rep from a couple of months ago bwchart detects 10hacks from my part. Seems like I select/assign a bunch of comsats in controlgroup 1. In reality they are marines and medics but bwchart dont agree. Dont know what causes this but I dont use any 3rd part program when I play on bnet (as I did in this game) and have never even tried a hack. I guess it's just a bug.
EDIT:This is in bwchart 1.03G have not tried the new version since it was buggy.

That's a bug with bwchart, I've seen it happen in reps from tv games. :p

You basically just agreed with me Plexa lol. I was justifying the ban, although I may have been incorrect when I was live report thread, I meant the thread describing the event in the Tourny forum he made.

Awesome! Not to mention..If I was hacking in this game..why would I call attention to it by complaining on it? This is somewhat similar to one time when my router cut out and I got disconnected. I lost points. The rules stated I could ask for my points back if there was no clear winner in the game. I did just that. I got a message back saying that the other guy disc hacked me and they gave me the win. I definitely wasnt disc hacked. It was absolutely a router issue. lol

It's just all the accounts I've heard about them.

Just make a post explaining the entire situation, post the replay, and pm the other superadmins. I do not have such a low opinion of iccup staff, even try making the complaint in a different account name so 2easy doesn't spot it immediately.
I am sure you will receive ban reversal and personal apology from 2easy if you just keep at this. Don't give up.

Happens often when admins suck at the game they play. Keep appealing up the ladder.

Were you banned for the replay, or because of the antihack?
|
Well my antihack was on, and the iccup admin said I was banned because their system detected something. They never explain at all what was detected or the nature of the offense other than it was "a hack". As far as I can tell NO admin EVER viewed the replay.
Personally I think it was something my opponent did that triggered the antihack, or it was a problem with his or my router because that game ended in a disconnect. I can't remember if I exited iccup after the game(instead of going to the lobby), but it's definitely possible. That's why I reported the game (like i've done many times in the exact situation) to get my win because of the "disc in a clearly won situation".
|
I posted a replay of a disc but the admin didn't bother watching it because "the download validation code is too hard to read" and couldn't DL the replay within 2 seconds. i realize they have to deal with a lot of stuff daily, but come on.

@TheFoReveRwaR Connection problems might trigger the antihack. But I don't think this is a common problem as there have to be several coincidents for that to occur. I think there was/will be an update to distinguish these events from real hack detections in the adminlog. @Australian Then why don't you upload to repdepot.net? Those sites where you first have to solve a captcha, then wait one minute and finally find the download link between all the advertisements are really annoying.
