What is your role in the band?
|
I play guitar and sing on some songs (I sing most of Chrysalis, and parts of the one in the video).
|
Fuck, this is so cool. Good job.
Edit: After watching the vidya, makes me wish I never cut my hair. Used to be as long as the brown, curly haired guy's.
|
I don't listen to much death metal, but I'm diggin' Chrysalis. Not bad bro.

The other two songs we are releasing are more "technical," so if that's your kind of thing you will enjoy them hopefully ^.^

Man Im in Cbus too, let me know if you have any shows comin' up..
|
I checked it out. For some reason myspace wouldnt fucking stream the damn thing properly...T_T
Anyway, it sounds alright...kind of a thrashy melo-death sound? The demo is a bit messy (sometimes instruments not in sync), but it got really good and catchier towards the end. (:

It is not completely perfect of course, as we are just some random dudes playing metal, but I think you must be assuming the song goes some way other than the way it does, because it is at least in sync with the way we wrote it.
The two live videos however ... yeah we need to practice more. We haven't been around that long, and I am pleased with our progress, so hopefully the future is bright ^.^

Hell yes, maybe a little heavier too?

The next one that is going to be released is the heaviest, with the heaviest title - "Slaughter at the Ancient Gates at Dawn." It has some nice riffs, an epic four part solo section, and blast beats in two parts.
The third one, "Scourged by Serpents," is a little thrashier, while also more progressive at some points, and has falsetto vocals. Thinks perhaps The Black Dahlia Murder meets 3 Inches of Blood meets Mastadon. It also has blasts, but more of a Euro-death style riff with a blast.

musics good, singing(i think?) is a little different for my taste=]

Wow. Like...the first "myspace metal band" I have heard that is actually good. Tone. Vocals. Composistion( sp? D: ). It's all very good. Don't run into many bands like this. Keep it up.
EDIT: Faggot smilies....

I never understood growling. It just doesn't make sense/appeal to me. It seems weird to try to pronounce words if you're just going to growl xD lol. But I'm more of a vocal fan (like, singing not growling :-P) than anything else when it comes to music.
I kind of want to understand it, but it seems so ugh.
Nice instrumentals though.

Hmm well there is one more song, and there is growling in it, but there is also "clean" vocals, although they are falsetto. It may not be your cup of tea still, but perhaps it is a slight improvement.
