Don't ask yubee one crotchmaster is bad enough :o

I've taken a couple music theory classes, but I know next to nothing about using FL, although I've tinkered with it in the past and really liked it, I never got into it.
I wouldn't mind offering suggestions on things you've done though

Electronic Music Production - Hide Spoiler -
Ableton Live - yubee Adobe Soundbooth - funkie Fruity Loops - s.a.y, vx70GTOJudgexv Logic - Starparty Reason - yubee, Navane

Ive made a lot of shit on Fruity loops TBH. Im not sure what kind of music you like but i love Hardstyle/techno/trance. I can help you with a lot of stuff. just pm if your interested.

get a keyboard or something.
FL won't teach you anything about music.
|
can you play an instrument? guitar, piano, violin, saxophone... jug (simpson's reference) and can you whistle? (like, with your mouth, not the object) and can you sing in tune? (at least relatively in tune, don't have to be mariah carey) do you listen to classical music? (or at least, would you not mind listening to classical music?)
i find the above backgrounds help when learning music from scratch
edit:
do you have a preference in music style? (what type of dj? hip hop, house, trance, kpop, etc.) do you think about and create melodies in your head? (are you able to construct musical phrases, as opposed to random "oh this sounds cool.. but how the heck would anyone play that.. o crap, i can't even remember how it goes") do you have a background in music theory? (harmony, counterpoint, etc.) if not, are you willing to spend the time and effort learning music theory? (or at least, basic rudimentary music theory such as chord progressions, etc.) and most of all... are you divinely inspired?
note: creativity has nothing to do with making music. if you copy, make the copy better than the original. if you are creative, make sure that its down to earth that people not on LSD can appreciate it. (rather, you might still get a fanbase if your LSD tracks are that good)

FL won't teach you anything about music. what a bold statement this is. smells like troll!!!
what kind of DJing? also if you don't know anything about music you're going to suck at it and not make anything worth listening for a really long time, just a heads up, so you've gotta be pretty into it
|
if it's hip hop, you're better off with fruity loops and/ or risen, along with adobe audition for sampling. .
the question on everyone's mind is: what kind of does tasteless listen to? and what does Tasteless want to play as a DJ?
Tasteless everyone here knows you're just looking for new ways to get laid, no need to deny it, but as everyone has already pointed out, this takes a lot time, effort and a some talent, so just go work on your game, or get them drunk.
