Shield
You sleep under your blanket,
So soft and so warm.
If you just close your eyes,
You won't see the storm.
Your house - it shelters you.
The umbrella stops the rain
But if this protection breaks
There will be nothing but pain.
Your armor burdens you
Just throw it away.
When it is penetrated
Where will you stay?
Do not hide in the cave
But hunt in the field.
If you sword is much stronger
Why hide behind your shield?
Can you not exist
Outside your comfort zone?
Outside of your walls
A country to won.
Have they not told you
Offense is the best defense.
Despite this you don't go
Outside of your fence.
Your armor burdens you
Just throw it away.
When it is penetrated
Where will you stay?
