Also, PvZ is not Bisu's best MU anymore. It was revolutionary, yes, but now that everyone has studied it so much it has become stale. His PvT and PvP are really, really good right now. If he goes into a slump, it will hopefully just be his PvZ. That's what has taken the hit...everything else he's played has been absolutely beautiful. He's also got some great support at T1, so I think he'll be okay.

Every time savior was mentioned during his slump and pre (and a bit post) blizzcon, fbh and bisu fans (the ones that don't like savior aswell) CONSTANTLY bring down savior fans and everyones shred of hope. Then when, who i assume, your best player loses, you have to bring another topic up for no reason (honestly alot of the savior fans said they are sad Bisu lost to zero to advance, and i am one, i would rather have bisu in aswell). Anyway i agreed with the second part of your post ;].

He's also got some great support at T1, so I think he'll be okay. The only reason why bisu lost is because he is too cocky. He apparently didn't learn the lesson from the savior era : players that stay in the spotlight, or who are too hungry don't last long. Look at how humble Stork was after his osl win : it's not the osl curse, it's only because he knows when he'll need to be dominant again, and he's keeping his bullets for the right time. Bisu went on a winning streak because of some bonjwa fantasy and look where he is now he should have stayed more patient. He's just not smart enough. The most difficult part of a tournament for a good player like bisu is often the beginning. Playing versus players you don't know very well (maGma, ZerO or hero), and who might come up with a perfect strategy on a certain map because they have plenty of time to practice is a real danger. I'm sure Bisu would have won a BO5 against these players. I'm not saying players should drop games, but when they rise to look unbeatable for a short time it's like everybody was trying to take them down from the throne (and that's what happened to sAviOr and FlaSh). Pull out your tricky moves, and be dominant only when the time is right (semifinals, finals), that's the only way to win a starleague.

If things don't go comepletly apeshit we will have more than enough Protoss in the round of 16 whiteout Bisu... And most of them have what it takes to win a title (Kal has silver, Stork has one, Jangbi has silver, Best has a silver, free came far...)... If they do not all drop out of the league by a miracle this result was the best for the league... At least if Zero is *overachieving* (how some call it) a little longer .
