So at work part of my job is to randomly generate passwords for people who forget their login password or unable to log in.
Every time (literally 100% of the time) I get an password with a ! in it I tell the person on the phone "exclamation mark" and they read it back to me "exclamation point" -_- Not following my leadership at all.
Being a semi-grammar nazi, I need to know which one it is.
Poll: Is it an exclamation mark or an exclamation point? (Vote): Exclamation mark (Vote): Exclamation point

I specifically remember learning this in like kindergarten. They taught us both.
I think I say point more often, but I have no way of telling except now I'll make note of which one I use. hah.

That's the exact same logic I had. It's all about consistency. Question mark, exclamation mark, dark mark, etc.
